Excellent tour of Male
We had a great time with Mahmood. Not only did he show us the major sites in Male proper, but he took us to two of the nearby islands. We had the opportunity to walk, ride the bus, take a ferry, take a cab and a private car. We saw everything we wanted to see on this tour. Well recommended.

Marine Life Fun
The three people leading the tour were friendly, helpful, and kind. They were attentive to to make the experience great! The snorkeling was nice, where we could see the stingrays, sharks, and fish. The dolphin passing was great. Lunch was satisfying. Lastly, the walk to the sandbay was remarkable! Thank you!

A fascinating little capital well worth seeing.
Finding “pier 5”, (the meeting spot) wasn’t at all obvious & Malé is very warm and humid. Expect to get sweaty! However this 4 hour tour tries to stay in the shade as much as possible and the length is necessary to cover all of the sights of the city. The walking is leisurely and on the flat. It was interesting and informative as the guide was a local & very knowledgeable with good English. To go in to the mosques long trousers are or a lungi is necessary to cover the legs. The coffee stop is a welcomed break from the humidity as it’s in an air conditioned cafe which has toilet facilities too. Overall, the tour of this small capital city is fascinating & is well worth doing.

We had 2 guides, both...
We had 2 guides, both were students on break. The first young man accompanied us to Villiingili island. There wasn't much to see there, but it was a different perspective of the country, very rural. The second guide, a pre-med student, walked and talked us around the main parts of the city. He was very knowledgeable and informative. The walk was at a good pace and ended in the local marked where we tried samples of a number of local snack foods; all very tasty. The city is small and compact, very walkable.

The capital of the Maldives archipelago, Malé is made up of multiple islands, so Malé tours are unsurprisingly centered around the beach and ocean. While most activities include snorkeling, sunset cruises, and dolphin spotting, Malé City is a bustling hub that's also well worth exploring. Wandering with a local guide gives you the inside scoop on markets full of tropical fruits and spices to historic mosques and museums. It’s also a great starting point for multi-day trips to explore some of the other islands in the archipelago.
