Ethan was warm and sincere. The views at night of the city wall were beautiful. What really made this experience was how Ethan guided us through a real shaman community. We met actual Korean shamans going about their daily business in sacred mountain sites. He gave us historical context throughout. It's clear he has really put his heart into developing and offering this unique experience.

Ethan did a great job in introducing a part of Korean culture and history to us. From start to finish it very clear that he tried his best to create the most wonderful experience for us. We booked this tour because we were curious to learn about shamanism in Korea. The tour was so interesting.

It was a wonderful and unique experience, definitely worth it! Ethan guide us, not only through legends as well as explanations that really gets you hooked, but also through cultural history.
The cherry on top was the fortune reading session by a Shaman at the end (optional activity). Amazing experience, I highly recommend it!
Moreover, Ethan is one of the greatest guides I have come to meet.
I almost did not made it to the tour because of running late due to traffic. Nevertheless, when I had already gave up to join that session, he kindly guide me to the spot where I could reach them, he was very helpful and I managed to arrive just in time! I'm extremely grateful!🙏💕

The tour was amazing; you don't usually delve into spirituality that easily, but you do after experiencing the tour. Ethan, our guide, was so engaged again; I can attest to that because I took a similar tour with him. He shows a completely different side of Korea. A very educational and beautiful side of Korea. You simply get immersed in Ethan's story and everything connected within the tour. It is truly worthwhile.

I did this very last minute as it came up on my Facebook feed. Really interesting tour on a very sacred mountain. Lot's of folk stories and history about Korean shamanism. We were lucky that it was a very clear night and the views were stunning. There's a short but steep path up part of the mountain, so good footwear is a must. Along the route we stopped at various sacred points. I opted for the shaman visit after, which was a profoundly moving experience. Overall I really recommend this tour and the shaman visit, if you want to experience a different and much older side of Korean culture. Shout out to Ethan, the tour guide who was very knowledgeable, interesting and kind.

This tour offers a bite sized peek into the background of shamanism in Korea, narrated by the knowledgeable Ethan and complemented by a good walk up the side of a mountain to visit sacred sites in shamanism, with fantastic views of Seoul. It rained a bit on our tour today which for me made it more fun, and I really appreciated the session with a practicing shaman afterwards. All in all, this is a light but good fun tour for the curious who are open and unafraid of walking a fair way uphill. Thank you, Ethan for designing and leading the tour :) More please!

The tour is definitely amongst my favourite so far. It brings you à little bit away from the heart of the city and up a hill, where in addition of everything you will have the most wonderful view of the city.
Ethan, our guide, was exceptionally good at conveying both the history and the feeling of the place, and he was very thoughtful over the little things like having moskito repellant spray for us.
Finally, the visit with the chaman was also touching. Whether you believe in it or not, it is quite real that he has a special, kind and observant presence.

I went to a moonlight walking tour on my first day to Korea, and our guide Ethan mentioned this other tour he was doing. With some other participants, we enjoyed his energy and way of telling stories so much that we did not hesitate and joined the spiritual adventure a couple of days later. I was not disappointed, another well crafted tour full of fascinating facts about Korean culture and folklore (and also beautiful views!). At the end we even had the opportunity to talk to a shaman, which made the experience even more special and spiritual. These two tours were so far my favourite during my trip to Seoul, you should definitely book them you won't regret it!

It was a fun and interesting tour to learn more about the spiritual side of Korea and to see an important part of Seoul. Ethan is very knowledgeable and knows what he’s talking about. He’s great at answering all the questions we had.
I do recommend it for anyone who is interested in history, spiritual things or even just great views over the city!
The highlight of the tour was meeting the shaman and that whole experience. Him telling us about us and it was so much fun how correct a lot of it was.

Very interesting view of the side of legends and shamanism present and very rooted into the Korean culture and modern-day society. You get to log some nice exercise while going up a sacred mountain where shamans go perform their rites. Really interesting and different tour.
