Outstanding day in Bali

We had an amazing day with Bagus exploring Bali. For us Uluwatu Temple was the stand out part of the day and Bagus allowed us as much time as we wanted to enjoy the Temple and the views. He shared his love for his home with us and it was a truly humbling experience

It would have made more sense to see Tanulot last as it is magnificent during sunset. Instead seeing it first at 1pm meant it was very hot and no where near as impressive.

Thank you very much for the review sir and madam. We have recorded the condition that you have taken a late start time as mentioned pick up at 11.00am from south Bali. Which is mean you arrived about noon in tanah lot. And also we have been advice to start a bit early to avoid the hot in the area of tanah lot temple but you have informed us to stick with the plan for late start from nusa dua which is 2 hours from the temple location. And for the sunset we have mentioned on the itinerary will be on Uluwatu Temple. If you wish to customize the itinerary to have sunset in tanah lot, that will be possible as well by inform us before the travel date then we can make reschedule order on the itinerary. The temples were great to see. Excellent coastline. Trip to Pedang Pedang beach was great. Our driver Niorman was excellent. Be prepared for extensive driving in intense traffic.

Real experience 2022

Unfriendly driver. No lunch, Dinner ( not even tell us where we can get foods) staving for whole 10+ hours. 70% in the car only 30% for actual activity. I found online ticket for firedance with is cheaper plus extra discount the driver said you shouldn’t get it yet and by the time we went to temple a big line plus the website already close to today session. Very disappointed experience.

Thank you very much for the review and yes our guide also straving all day long during the tour ! as we can confirmed that the tour it has lunch and dinner optional. Our guide has reported that you have offered for having stop for lunch and you have quoted for inclusive which is very detail writen on voucher you have booked its is on optional lunch. Having lunch or dinner has offered twice but you didn't want anything for eat. Our guide guess that you did fasting ! And that case our guide driver also following you and no lunch all day it maybe incrase his emotion as human and we can understand. its true for the moment the traffic is very very heavy due the road condition now is full with the car of traveler from other island as they traveling the the car. In india maybe you can see less traffic but at the moment we apologize, this case of traffic is out of our control. And regarding the dance ticket also we sett it as optional and we recommended to go there to get the ticket dance upon arrival. Because is often when we book a ticket online that ticket has no seat. And very difficult to get a refound. That is the real situation. Once again, Thank you very much for the review and next time please double check your voucher for lunch or dinner before you ask. The driver was very polite and helpful. I would say the most interesting part for us it was having a local for a full day so we can learn about the culture and live here. The tour itself was fine, most memorable was kecak dance, it was unusual.

Amazing experience, beautiful

It was an amazing experience visiting Tanah lot temple and Uluwatu temple, with Kecak Dance. Padang Padang Beach is picturesque. But the highlight was the two temples and the breathtaking Kecak dance in the back drop of gorgeous sunset over the magnificent Indian Ocean. Our driver Wayan was very helpful. Hassle free. He was on time , very cordial and friendly, and made sure we had a great time. Thank you Wayan. Highly recommended.

In general this tour is fine. Tanah Lot and Uluwatu temple really have some breath-taking views. However, beware of the driver as he is a freeloader and didn't even ask me before if i could pay for his lunch and in the end i had to pay for it. In reality, he could have received a free lunch from the restaurant serving lunch by bringing in tourists.

Please note, since you are single traveler the restaurant does not count this as "bringing in tourists" as the group was not large enough to offer the guide a boxed lunch. Instead of waiting for you to finish your own meal, the driver instead chose to respect your invitation to have lunch together. We do understand the issue experienced and apologize for any misunderstanding on the day of the tour.
