Mr Merry pick us up at our hotel he was friendly and helpful the whole trip. Nothing was to much for him. We can not thank him enough. The the quad bikes were a lot of fun our tour guide was so helpful, and lunch afterwards was really delicious and the staff were so friendly and also extremely helpful.

We had an amazing time ATV riding, and I can’t recommend this excursion enough! The ride itself was incredibly fun — full of excitement, great views, and just the right amount of adventure. Definitely come prepared to get a bit muddy! I recommend bringing a change of clothes and socks. They provide boots, lockers, shower rooms, and towels, which makes everything super convenient. You can also buy ponchos in the shop if you need them. A special shoutout to Bawi, our driver, who was so nice and professional the entire time. He took great care of us and made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a memorable and enjoyable excursion, this is absolutely the one to choose!

Great quad biking experience

Thoroughly enjoyed the quad biking experience. Once at the activity our guide was very helpful in explaining to us how to manage the bikes safely and where the route would take us, there was only a small group (3 people and 1 guide) which meant there wasn’t a lot of waiting around. After finishing the quad biking there were plenty of clean showers and towels available to wash and dry (I would recommend taking a spare change of clothes and you will get muddy on the dirt track) One thing I did find could have been better was the communication in regards to the transfer we had from the hotel, I’d text the operator the day prior to attempt to verify a pick-up time and there was no response. The morning of the activity I had to phone the tour operator to get a number for the transfer driver who then gave me a time just 15mins prior to pick-up, feel this could have been communicated a bit better in advance. The only other thing to bare in mind is the weight restrictions on different style of quad bikes, although you can book onto a smaller bike for 2 people on Viator we had to pay a premium upon arrival which was near enough the same we had originally paid on the website. I understand the reasoning for this however wish it was communicated better when originally booking to prevent any hidden costs.

They don’t tell you you can’t ride if you are 65 and older

I wish I could tell you about my experience, but after we got there they asked if anyone was 65 or older. I said yes, thinking we would have to sign a waiver, but nooooo, we weren’t allowed to even ride. My brother and sister-in-law went and they had a fabulous time. Luckily we had the best guide and he kept us entertained until they were done.

I managed to flip my quad bike only 100m into the ride so I spent the whole time lying on a bench injured. Thank goodness I was wearing a helmet that I made sure was fitted properly. There is no designated first aid area which is essential given how dangerous quad biking can be. I had to lay on a bench where the bikes come in to be washed etc. I was breathing in fumes the whole time and the only equipment was a small cabinet on the wall with a few bandages etc in it. However, the staff who came to check on me were lovely but clearly not trained in first aid. They reassured me that I could go to hospital as it was covered by their insurance. I chose not to go. Straight away though they handed me a form to say that I had received the appropriate and timely first aid and agree to be sued if I post a negative review that was proven to be false! Please note that I was not confident from the start when I saw that the bikes had an acceleration lever instead of a handle bar throttle. My lever was a bit sticky but I just assumed that was normal for this type of throttle. I didn’t express my concerns to anyone which I take responsibility for. Only go on a bike you feel comfortable with. Make sure your accelerator lever, brakes and steering all work properly. Several people in the group had to change bikes throughout the ride for steering and brake failures. Having said that, my husband said it was the best experience he’s ever had but take money for drinks halfway, which you’ll need, and they don’t tell you about it. He is an experienced motorcycle rider so he was very confident to start with. Don’t let my review stop you going as my experience isn’t the norm. My review is meant as advice not a deterrent. This tour is well known as the best quad bike experience in Bali and judging by my husband’s huge grin it’s true!

Overpriced, boring track, too many people

Did 4 atv tours on bali over the last few years - this was by far the worst. You start with a group of over 20 people. The first 30minutes of the tour you have to wait every 5minutes for another 5minutes because someone in the back gets stuck, or the quad turns off/breaks down. Out of the promised 1.5-2h "tour" at least 50% of it was waiting. Cherry on top of the cake was the "drink time" where you can BUY overpriced drinks while being forced to wait another 20-30minutes. Not even a water was free during this completely unnecessary break. The track itself consisted of 2 mud pools, 1 cave, 1 river. Overall very boring and not many exciting things to see, no waterfalls. No tough terrain, no "wow" moments like on other tours I've done before. For this price (850k IDR) I expected way more. I've done tours for half the price that were better and consisted of exactly zero (0) minutes waiting time with only 5 people total

It had its highs and lows. They book too many people at once so you end up in line longer than riding. Sitting around lots of ATV’s all gassing off caddying strong fumes and giving you a headache. Rising through the rivers and the mud bath is the highlight and super fun. Wear clothes you’re ok ruining. The mud will ruin it. Waiting made it not fun but it had its moments.

To be very certain you are very clear with what you booking, or it will end up more expensive than you expected…… we ended up being harassed by a driver who was demanding more money even whilst we were talking with Viator customer service. Unbelievably bad experience….

If you think this will be an informative sight seeing tour think again! Exhilarating quad bike rides but no information about what we’re seeing, eg how/why gorilla cave made etc, village we went through. Thought we would see waterfall but didn’t. Driver transfer very quiet- hardly spoke English so no ability to ask questions about what we saw on the way to the quad biking. It was a good experience though with our son, but I wouldn’t do it again

My wife and i got to pickup site outside of cruise port gate at 7:45 am for 8:am pickup. Messaged tour operator at 7:58 and 8:05 am. Called Viator at 8:11 am since no one showed. Viator called tour and told me no one at tour would answer. Tour finally replied to my message at 8:16 and said driver was at pickup. I replied that no one was at pickup. We were at the GPS coordinates sent to us by Viator outside the cruise port gate. We were picked up at same location for different tour the day before. At 8:26 am we were still waiting and on phone with viator who finally said they would cancel since tour operater would not respond to them. We left outside gate at 8:29 am and went back to ship. We were not able to book another tour for this day.

Mr. Merry was kind enough to pick us up an hour ahead of our scheduled time, because he was worried that incoming rain would make the course too dangerous later on. We had an absolute blast on the two hour course and enjoyed a relaxing swim and lunch at Cretya Sunset afterwards. We had so much fun and would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves an adrenaline filled adventure and isn't afraid to get muddy.

Highly recommend!! We got picked up at 8am by the tour driver Yoga, he was awesome and vey professional. The track was absolutely amazing and had insane views. Our tour guide Ari really made the most out of our treck and enhanced the experience for us. Bring a spare change of clothing! You go through lots of mud and water. They have a beautiful facility for you to shower and change in. Lunch was very nice aswell.

Had so much fun and loved getting muddy!! We had a few breakdowns but they were quick in resolving the issues so that we could continue. Luckily we were put in a group with people who liked going fast. Would definitely recommend.
