To reach the summit of mount Batur , you need to walk around 1.5 - 2 hours and the same amount of time on the way back
Total duration from pick up - trekking - drop off approximately 6 - 8 hours
Travelers are advised to wear light, comfortable clothing, climbing shoes ( slip resistant) and bring a change of clothes , sunglasses, caps or hats, sweaters or jackets, a water bottle, snacks, a swimsuit( if you choose with hot spring option) , a camera, and some petty cash.
