Good keep experience but wouldn’t recommend pick up driver

Firstly I’ll start with the positives. Buke our jeep guide was fantastic 5/5 and made the Mount Batur experience really special. It was great fun in the jeep and the sunrise was stunning. He was kind and knowledgeable and I would certainly recommend him. What ruined the trip for us was our pick up driver Agus. He collected us up in a car the smelled of cigarettes and when it turned day light we could see all the mould and dirt inside. He literally did not stop sending texts and voice notes whilst driving and his concentration lacked. The driver wing mirror didn’t exist and the rear view mirror was cracked/taped. His front window was that dirty we could barely see the road. I didn’t feel safe and when I expressed concerns he just said ‘arnt you feeling sleepy’!! He stopped to pick his own breakfast up but didn’t offer us any even though this should have been included in the cost of the trip. Thankfully our hotel gave us something. We even had to buy coffee up the mountain. The cafe that he took us to was closed (you’d think he would have checked with the amount of time he spent on his phone). He then was just asking random people at the side of the road where was open and took us to another- not great. We didn’t want to do a coffee plantation so he just drove us back to the hotel. Considering what we paid Agus really let us down. I would however recommend the Jeep trip with Buke.
