Magical waterfall walks.

Of all the tours I have done on Azores, this definitely is the very best one. João takes you in an e-minibus to all the best and most magical waterfall places on the island , which you would never find on your own. The tour is a combination of hiking ( some steep bits) , but walking sticks are provided, waterfalls you can swim in and some sightseeing. At the middle of the day is a tasty local picnic ( they catered for my vegetarian and gluten free needs) in a wonderful place by the see. A totally unforgettable day.

This tour takes the group on moderate trails to see magnificent waterfalls. Dress appropriately for mud and elevation change. You might want to bring a hiking stick if able.

First of all, we would like to give our sincerest thanks and appreciation for our guide, Joao. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The waterfalls that we hiked to were spectacular and worth every effort to get to. The trails were a bit challenging but with perseverance, you will love the views. The small group was ideal. We didn’t feel rushed and Joao made sure that we were safe and comfortable throughout the day. The lunch provided was generous and tasty. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in visiting the beautiful island of Açores.
