During this small-group tasting workshop, you’ll sample two of Greece’s most renowned regional food products: honey and olive oil. Sample four extra virgin and organic oil varieties, plus flower and pine-infused local honey. Workshops include savory snacks and a glass of “raki,” a traditional alcoholic beverage, and are conveniently located in central Fira.

My wife and I had an amazing time! We booked this tasting without ever doing an olive oil tasting before. The host was knowledgeable, funny, kind, and an overall amazing human being! We loved our time and he was so kind to give us postcards and honey stirrers for free at the end! Would recommend 11/10! We had an amazing time!

This was a fun and informative way to learn about, and taste olive oil! The host was very friendly and welcoming! We felt like we were invited into his home as friends to learn about something he is very passionate about!
This took place in his bar/cafe STOA. On its own, this is a great place to escape the heat and crowds to enjoy a well crafted cocktail! Great experience! Would definitely recommend!!

Something different than the standard wine tasting! Our host was incredibly knowledgeable about olive oil. The time went by quickly and we really enjoyed the tapas and tastings. The directions made the location easy to find as well.

Absolutely amazing experience! The owner was so kind, offered us various drink options, and had so many food items to pair with the honey and olive oil! I learned so much that I never knew before of what to look for when buying honey, how to store olive oil, history of the products, etc. Not to mention the honey and olive oil itself tasted so good! If you are in Santorini, this is a must. I would give 10/5 stars if I could!

The Olive Oil and Honey tasting was amazing. The owner of STOA is so personable and very polite. He asked questions and got everyone engaged that was part of the tasting. What a fantastic experience! We learned so much about olive oil and honey … the tastings were thoughtfully presented and our host was friendly and funny. A perfect activity if you want to do something specific to Greece, but unique. We did our tasting with one other couple, so the small group meant we got truly personal attention. Consider this a MUST DO when in Santorini!

Stathis was such a great host! He was very accommodating and hospitable. He began the tasting by offering us all a drink of our choice, and a pitcher of water to accompany our tasting. We had a small group of 4 (my wife & I, plus another couple), and all of us chose the Cappuccino Freddo, which is a Greek style frozen cappuccino with whipped cream, and it was delicious! He then guided us through the tasting, and explained to us how different olive farmers harvest and prepare their olive oil, as well as how different olive oil makers harvest the olives at different times in the season, and how that impacts the taste as well. We were provided with bread, a type of Greek beef jerky, feta cheese, olives and cherry tomatoes to eat and use as vessels to try the different olive oils and honey with. Overall, this was a very unforgettable and personal experience that we will never forget and would recommend this tasting to anyone who wishes to experience some of these local delicacies!
