Once you enter the hotel lobby, you will walk to the pool area where the security guard will instruct you to go to the pool stands to put on your bracelet and get your Towel. From there you will go to the activity center.

Pick between morning and afternoon scuba experience start times, and make your own way to San Juan’s Caribe Hilton Hotel for our lesson. On-site parking is available for guests at an additional cost.
Head inside the hotel and proceed to the beach entrance, where you’ll meet your dive instructors and begin your lesson, breaking the session into three parts. You’ll begin with a class session emphasizing proper scuba safety procedures, then head to the pool for a scuba demonstration.
Once you feel ready, head to the hotel beach, where you’ll take your first open-water dive in a safe, shallow, area that’s known for its cove full of fish. Enjoy the thrill of your underwater experience as you search for marine life like octopuses, sea urchins, eels, sea horses, and more. You’ll end your experience at the hotel following your dive.

Discover Scuba was a great outing and Carlos was a fantastic instructor. We saw lots of cool ocean life. This is a great activity for those considering taking up scuba diving.

Micheal our instructor was patient, explained everything very well, was very personable, and added humor to make everything fun. He was calm and professional in the water and helped my kids out with all their needs. I extremely recommend this excursion!

I have done Scuba a couple of times in the past but this was by far the most enjoyable. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I forgot my sunblock and they were nice enough to let me use theirs.
The instructor is very patient and takes his time to make sure you understand everything. He actually taught me a couple of things that other instructors in the past did not mention and always made sure I was comfortable throughout the experience.
The dive itself is in somewhat shallow water by the beach of the hotel in which it's hosted so it's perfect for those looking to try it for the first time. As an added bonus, you get a wristband that allows you to use the facilities for the remainder of the day (I wish I had known this in advance!).
I can't say enough things about this activity and its staff. I am definitely booking it again the next time I am in Puerto Rico. Thank you so much guys!

I was NAUI certified when I was 12 and it’s been 25 years since I’ve been diving and I was slightly anxious. Michael the instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly. Made scuba very fun and no worries.

Instructor Michael was excellent. He was, of course, safety conscious, but also a pleasure as an instructor. Really made it enjoyable for me and my daughter. We had never scuba dived before.

My guide, Carlos Daniel, was super. Very thorough with safety guidelines and had an eye on me the whole time (I was the sole diver). I felt very comfortable the whole time. If you have never done SCUBA, this is a great intro. If you have before (and I have off the coast of Australia), you might not see as much or go a deep as you have before. But def a good experience for first-timers.

Our instructor was very very patient with us. My GF was very anxious about scuba as she had a bad experience snorkeling in Mexico. He was patient and introduced her very slowly to scuba in a depth of water that she was comfortable in. By the end of the lesson she was very comfortable and scooping up shiny things at the bottom of the ocean at what I believe was 12 to 15 ft. I'll be bringing my friends to you when we come back in the Spring. Thank you very much

I had previously done scuba classes at school in a pool. I’m so happy I finally did so in the actual ocean!(well, a bay). We saw some barracuda and squid along with beautiful tropical fish! Great experience, go in the morning!!

God awful! The training was rushed and pressured! My husband and I didn't feel comfortable to continue and go on the dive! This was our anticipated highlight of our honeymoon and it was ruin! I don't recommend this with this company. Try someone else.

Hi, We are sorry to hear you didn't have the greatest experience. As how you are describing the experience is not correct. Our instructor had you and your husband plus another couple. Everything was done as its normally done and the instructor even spend more time training in shallow water the usual as your party wasn't very comfortable in the water. The instructor never rush or pressure anyone on the activity. The decision to stop the activity was taken by you as you didn't want to hold up more the other couple from doing the dive. Since we had other guest after your tour we can't prolong the activity for then what the schedule allows. For next time i recommend you do the activity privately. You you give us another chance in the future.

This was by far the best adventure I had while in Puerto Rico. Since it was my first time scuba diving I was a bit nervous heading into the session. Thankfully, The Instructor Eddie was an amazing teacher and his knowledge and delivery of the material allowed me to shake off any reservations I had and truly enjoy this one of a kind experience. I lloved scuba so much that I’ve already began the process of becoming certified. I highly recommend to anyone with the slightest desire to discover scuba diving. You won’t regret it!
