If you’re traveling solo or just simply looking for a fun night out, I highly recommend this Bar Crawl. Our host was Carlos and we had so much fun the entire night. He took very good care of the group, made sure we were safe & enjoying ourselves. I will definitely do it again the next time I visit Costa Rica.
Ismael and Amanda were so much fun! It was a great way to start our first day in San Jose!! We got to know the local night life vibe

I t was a great downtown bar tour on a Saturday night. The host provided a great interactive experience and be prepared for quite a few shots of Cacique. Some of the experience will depend on the group you are with but the host tries to draw out a good time for everyone.
This was such a great night! Carlos was our host, and he did a fantastic job of helping us get to know each other and feel comfortable as a group (and he likes sports).
10/10, we would absolutely do this again!!
Worth it, the drinks equal about what you would pay at the bar. Nice crowd, wear comfortable shoes. (alot of walking).
Carlos was an incredible host and made the entire night unforgettable. From the moment we met, he brought great energy, kept everything organized, and made sure everyone was having a good time. He knew exactly where to go, got us into great spots, and kept the vibe fun and smooth the whole night.
What really stood out was how attentive and professional he was while still keeping things relaxed and enjoyable. We never had to worry about anything—Carlos handled it all and made sure the group stayed together and had an amazing experience.
If you’re looking for a fun, stress-free night out, Carlos is the person you want. Highly recommend—would definitely do it again!
This was so much fun! I had such a great time, the host was really fun and we had the chance to visit a lot of cool and interesting bars. I recommend buying your own drinks and shots in addition to the ones that you get, but other than that it was a great time!
This was an awesome experience experience if traveling solo like I was. Our host was fun and other people on the tour had great energy which adds to the fun.
Priscilla and Isma were the best!!! This was the best experience, very cost efficient, safe, and great way to make new friends!! Isma walked us to the car also.
This was my first time ever doing this and I’m telling you my night was unforgettable, thank you to pracilla for making a night to remember , the vibes the people the music everything was so good , this was definitely a 10/10 for me I had made new friends , everyone was vibing and we danced all night .

The hosts were spectacular and everything was nice and fun very organized and professional it felt like I was hanging out with our friends
This was a great time! The host were amazing! We were able to get a driver through them there and back that just felt safer.! Truly amazing! My only suggestion would be to stay a little longer at some of the spots. It felt like we moved quick & no bar outside of the first one felt like it was lit. However the host can’t know when & how people will be in bars. But again the ice breaker was amazing.! The vibes were good and the host were truly immaculate.! Thank you for a great time!
The host were not attentive and didn’t complete the crawl cuz they were too busy drinking with each other did not enjoy

Not the bar crawl vibe I was expecting for San Jose. Also your experience will depend a lot on the group for the night.
There is walking, so dress comfortable and wear comfortable shoes. Overall great experience and alot of fun ❤️❤️❤️

This San jose bar crawl was great. It was cool to see the night life of San Jose. We visited a total of 4 bars. And you got a free shot or beer at 3 of the 4 bars. We were 20 in our group which was decent. Overall the experience was great. Our tour guides Fatima and Amanda did a great job trying to keep everyone engaged. Book this tour for Saturday. It was very busy and lively with locals and foreigners.
I almost did not make it to this bar crawl as I had a long commute and reached San José just about an hour before the tour started. When I messaged the organisers to let them know I was running late, they were very responsive and welcoming and organized a driver at an added cost for me. I am truly grateful that I still went because this experience was amazing.
Ismael was an excellent tour guide, and Amanda joined us as well. She guides on other nights, but it was lovely having her there. The tour was real value for money with the shots and drinks that were included. Even when I bought my own drinks, especially at my favourite stop which was Chupitos La Cali, the prices were very reasonable. Chupitos stood out to me because of the unusual and fun way they do their shots and the whole grunge and urban modern vibe of the place.
I had a wonderful time. I even heard music from my country which was the icing on the cake. The group meshed together so well, and Ismael was very good at creating that atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting San José even an enemy lol and I will do it again.
I had an amazing time doing this bar crawl! My tour guide, Fatima was so amazing! She was friendly & made sure to keep my group & I entertained the entire time! We met other guests that was attending this bar crawl. She was perfect! 10/10
Amanda was our guide and she was so much fun. We had a ball. The shots kept flowing, everyone was dancing, the bars we went to had great music. It was definitely a vibe and I recommend.
Ismael our host was very attentive and engaging. Ismael kept us entertained and frequently checked to ensure we were having a great time. Ismael definitely didn’t make this solo traveler feel like she was alone. The others that joined the event were amazing and fun to be with as well. I loved the games we played in the beginning as ice breakers and I truly appreciated Ismael going above and beyond by staying with us and making sure we all had safe transportation from the event.
I’m so but I done the same bar crawl a week before with Ismael who by the way was absolutely amazing. This one with Fátima was a joke. For the first hour very little interaction with the group because she was to busy playing on her phone. Then the first place she takes was very small and completely full. Absolutely no room so by then I’ve had enough so an hour and 15 minutes in I call for an uber. I think you should get more people like Ismael. If you book this excursion and you get anybody besides Ismael don’t waste your time.
Ismael is absolutely the best host. E got the whole group in an awesome vibe. Definitely gonna try this again.
