Juan was an awesome guide for the bar crawl. He took us to experience some of the most popular bars in the city. The drinks were good and the music was great. He took the time to help us bond as a group during the experience. We came as two people and left with five new friends. Overall, it was a great experience and a great night.

The initial meet up was sketchy because the door person tried to charge us to go in to meet the host, who was outside. But it turned out fine. I had a blast and definitely recommend to anyone. host Franco was amazing took us to 4 different places and after the tour, he decided to stick around with us as the group were mostly visitors…. Amazing guy.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself on this bar crawl with my friends, the Host (Felipe), and other travelers we met that night. We chose to go on the 5th. There was an instant connection, that was palpable. Everyone was there to have fun, and we all did. Our host was very hospitable, chill, relaxed, and knowledgeable at the same time. I felt safe in his hands, especially when we were walking around the area with all that traffic. He made sure everyone was accounted for at all times. It was a very fun way to experience the nightlife here in San Jose, Costa Rica. I would go back if I were to come here again, because you get a little taste of this, little taste of that, and I like dipping my toes into different things when I visit a place. I don't think we would've been able to pull that night off on our own to be honest. So I'm glad we booked a bar crawl for the nightlife experience.

Amazing host and experience. Juan took our group out to several locations, tour was much longer than expected and very fun. Drinks were great. Juan is very knowledgeable of San Juan, and a very responsible guide. We were able to immediately enter all places, no wait. We spent a great deal of time at each location, tour was very relaxed and not rushed at all. Juan speaks English fluently, and is very nice in conversation. Great host. He also has other tours and adventure options in San Juan.

Perfect Night on The Town!

The bar/pub crawl with Juan Manuel was a highlight of our trip! He took us to some really great bars and discos, where we got to try local beers and liquors. It’s a perfect way to be among local Costa Ricans and meet other like minded travelers. It’s a safe and fun way to go out in a place you’re not familiar with. Juan Manuel is friendly, funny and a delight to be around. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a great night out in San Jose!
