Going for a ride on a horse is great way to spend an hour and see some different sights. We traveled up the winding trail, through fields of sheep & cows to what might be one of the best views overlooking Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island. The guide Amy was interesting and she offered to take my photo in front of the view. As a solo traveler I always appreciate getting a photo of myself during an activity. The horses are well cared for and gentle. I will come back here for a ride any time I'm in Rotorua.

We had an incredible experience riding horses. My aunt owns horses and lives in the horse capital of the world. I barely know how to sit on one. We both give the outing a full five stars. Our guide obviously loved the horses and took the time to make us comfortable. I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out. The view was amazing!
