The best view of the city that you can imagine. The lines could feel long but it is best if you get more expensive ticket with skip the line option. It gets more packed in the late afternoon but again it is totally worth waiting for.

Very poor organization. I deliberately booked my ticket in advance for a specific time 5:00 PM expecting a smooth experience and the chance to enjoy the sunset. However, when I arrived, I was told by staff that I still had to stand in the same line as people without reservations just to print my ticket! I ended up wasting nearly 45 minutes waiting.
After that, there was yet another line of about 30 minutes just to access the cable car. In total, despite booking a timed ticket, I spent over an hour waiting. By the time I finally got up, it was already dark, and I completely missed the sunset I had planned for.
This defeats the whole purpose of booking in advance. Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking through Viator.

However you have to exchange this for an official ticket. So go to the front area and queue for the actual ticket (on the left hand side).

Overwhelmingly busy … less opportunity to get great spots, unlike Christ the Redeemer. It took us 1.5hrs to make our way down. Not well organised

Do not book through Viator, even though you select a time it is not guaranteed when you arrive as it is for a generic ticket. We purchased a 1500 time slot but upon arrival everything was sold out till 1800 hrs. Staff was extremely helpful and advised that third party booking sites only give you a voucher redeemable for a ticket at some point that day and the time slot choice is meaningless unless booked through the official Sugarloaf website. The staff was very kind and allowed us to go up on our original time of 1500 but it took them going above and beyond. So do not book here, google the official site.
Actual experience was great and the views were stunning! Definitely visit m!

Amazing experience! Lots of shops and restaurants at each mountain and plenty of places to walk around. Highly recommend going at sunset as it is so beautiful.

It says skip the line but you still have go and exchange your voucher for a ticket which takes a great deal of confusion - and 30+ minutes.

Smooth and seamless process. We actually got there about 2 hours earlier than our scheduled time, and we were able to exchange tickets instead of waiting around.

Ripped off totally. Booked on the10th BUT booking came thru for the 11th....Absolutely NO TYPO......system then said no refunds and when we then accessed site it again it said no availabilty...BUT later in the day rang direct and said there were tickets still available for the 10th. We will be pursuing this scam.

Easy to use at the box office to get tickets. If there are a lot of people, avoid lines and help make better use of the time in Rio de Janeiro

Showed 2 members of staff the ticket, was directed to the wrong line by both of them, waited 1 hour to be told was in wrong line and should have printed it out (which could have done but not aware i was supposed to do or that i needed ID which i had thankfully). So made process a lot longer than needed to be, which i why i got these tickets in advance in the first place. More of communication issue between ticket prover and onsite staff but more info would have been helpful beforehand to make it an easier/quicker process. Was fairly smooth after this, nice views and saw little monkeys.

Go to administration first to get your ticket. Overall great experience. I went at sunset. Would recommend affordable this way too. Include cable cart and entry.

Avoid buying the tickets from Viator GetYourGuide or others, you will end up waiting hours in line because you will not get a tickets from this company just a reservation number, and you have to go wait in lines to exchange this reservation number for an actual ticket.
Otherwise the view from the top is amazing

Poor information with regards getting voucher redeemed set us back 2 hours just buy a ticket upon arrival no such thing as skip the line very disappointed and time consuming. One up the views were stunning drink bit pice but worth one plenty of cafes bars shops

The voucher issued is not ideal. It's not a ticket so you are first taken to an office where you have to print the voucher out and then receive tickets. Don't understand why they can't just issue the QR code ticket.

Priority if you print the voucher and you are above 60 years old or cripled or with a guide. Otherwise you wait a long time in the sun.

To get the tickets you have to queue twice. First they print the voucher, then you go to another both to change it to a ticket. Lost half an hour because of this.

I saw the advertisement of viator in another excursion minutes before, so I make the buy of the tickets entering to the Sugarloaf! That was a little stress but I did and in the place the people print the tickets so that was great. We saved a lot of money in the tickets buying in this web
