Equator day! So Fun!

Karin_H, Apr 2026
Fantastic. Edourdo was a wonderful guide. Safe driver, very informative. We would highly recommend this tour.

Really great experience

This was a great way to spend a half day exploring Quito, especially the “0,0,0” latitude monument. Our tour guide, Eduardo, really made us feel comfortable and did a great job telling us about the cultural sites we visited. 100% recommend this tour!

Loved every second of it!

Marcelo was an incredible tour guide. We had some friends visiting and Marcelo expertly led our tour in English and held some great conversations in Spanish with us as well. He was incredibly knowledgeable, gave some great science and history facts, and showed a true passion for tour guiding. He was patient with us when we needed to take bathroom breaks or wanted to stop at some shops. Our driver was also incredible, very safe and timely. The van we had was very comfortable and had A/C. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone seeking to learn more about Ecuador and the beauty that is living on the equator.

Great tour

Carolina was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make our tour special. This tour is a great way to spend have a day in Quito doing the must see areas.

Memorable Experience

Very knowledgeable and polite guide (Marcello) who provided a lot of information throughout the tour. The pace and duration of the tour was well balanced. Really enjoyed the memorable experience. Thank you!

We had our own driver and tour guide that was informative. Wasn't impressed by the crater village, but did enjoy the Intinan Museum where the actual equator passes through and later at the obelisk. The drive to and around the crater is about an hour, then a short drive to the museum, where you spend about another hour with a personal tour by the museum staff. The obelisk is self guided, and the village is worth a stay to eat and explore.

Fascinating tour, excellent guide

The Middle of the Earth tour was outstanding, especially visiting the equator interactive museum and learning about the history and culture of Ecuador from our excellent guide, Marzello. Thank you

Our Guide, Marcelo, did a fantastic job introducing us to the history of the “2” Equator monuments, with an added visit to one of the nearby Volcanoes. Our driver was also very nice.

Historically & Culturally driven tour

Our tour guide Eduardo was very courteous and professional. It was a private tour. And I highly recommend this tour, worth every dollar. Very scenic as well.

Passion and knowledge.

Christopher_G, Apr 2024
An excellent introduction to Ecuador. The guide's great passion and broad knowledge of his country were evident throughout the tour. His willingness to share this passion and knowledge was constant regardless of the topic being discussed. The guide also knew when to listen so the scene and natural sounds could be experienced. Pre tour communication was excellent with handy tips on what to wear and bring on the tour. The activities exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Must see!

A lovely day in Quito with our expert guide Eduardo. This is a must see when in Quito! Be prepared to pay $10 per person for entry fees to the two destinations.

Great Experience

Claire_S, Apr 2024
Wonderful tour! Eduardo was so knowledgeable and kind. Our group really enjoyed our experience. Only doing the half day tour, we still managed to see and learn a lot. Transportation was comfortable and punctual. Highly recommend.

Excellent Tour

Superb tour, excellent tour guide and we were well looked after from the start. Excellent communication. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Marcelo was a great tour guide

metrolarry, Jul 2023
The grandkids really enjoyed doing all the experiments at the Equator. Marcelo kept everyone engaged and present with his knowledge of not just the tour but Ecuadorian history.

We had a great time on this half-day tour in the Middle of the World. Our guide, Marcelo, was very informative and open to suggestions. He is a fluent English speaker and a former museum guide. He also made some recommendations on places to see and food options around Old Town Quito.

Great way to see several interesting sites in a short time

Melinda_K, Aug 2021
I usually try to avoid private tours but this one was great. Eduardo confirmed the pickup time and location in advance and arrived right on time. The tour included several stops and Eduardo added colour and background to all of them as well as places that we passed along the way. He even found an ATM when I realized I had to pay cash for everything and didn't have enough. My favourite part of the tour was the Intinan Museum - probably because I am a science nerd.
