Xemena was an excellent guide. Will refer friends if the opportunity arises. There were only 2 in our group so we got very personal attention.

Excellent tour. Great way to experience the equator and Quito. Guide Oscar and driver Pedro were excellent. Exceeding all expectations!

Our tour guide, Wendy, was great. She was very knowledgeable and took time to explain the history of her country. She brought fruit for us to try during the drive to experience more of Ecuador. We recommend this trip!

Our tour guide Oscar and driver Bolivar arrived at our hotel on time and took us up through the hills of Quito all the while explaining the city history and culture, answering our questions along the way. We stopped at a park to view a village of people living inside a volcano crater followed by an amazing time Learning about the culture and people of Equidor at the museum then to Mitad del Mundo. We wanted to see more of the city, so they dropped us off at Old town so that we could walk through the city and provided us with an excellent lunch recommendation. It was a great time!

This trip was excellent. Great guide great photo opportunities. Fun to be on the equator. We were happy to gave the same guide the next day

This was a very good tour! Oscar, Our guide, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. If there was a choice this would be closer to 4.5. We stopped at Pululahua Geobotanical reserve, which is very interesting. We learned much about Ecuador at the Intinan Solar museum. The only downside was that we were told to be ready at 8 AM via an email and it was 9 AM before we were picked up. There seemed there seemed to be some confusion, but otherwise it was a great trip!

Our guide, Gabriel, was wonderful. He was personable, informative, and adapted to our requests. We loved visiting the volcano, Mitad del Mundo, and the real equator. A marvelous 1/2 day!

Our tour guide was early and had good English. The private tour is worth paying the extra for. The official tour at Mitad del Mundo was very poor - hurried and disinterested, but our Viator driver took us around again and gave us extra time. He knew as much as the official guide and was more interesting.

Mitad del Mundo from Quito was a nice, but semi-corny tour - it only included the Intinan Museum...NOT the entry to the separate Mitad del Mundo monument area. Drive is about 30-45 minutes from Quito, depending on your starting location. Roads and drivers are a bit hectic, and most cars are manual / stick-shift. The Intinan outdoor museum is clean and run by well-versed guides that take you quickly through a planned route, explaining indigenous tribes, and other cultural exhibitions. It is a tad kitschy, but the feeling and once-in-a-lifetime experience of being on the equator overrides that. There are a few experiments, that kids would love. Balancing the egg, water rotation, sundials, etc. On this specific tour, we left the Museum and drove down the road to Mitad del Mundo monument. Apparently the tour cost did not include the 8 for entry to this location. I must have mis-understood the tour description, but I feel like this should have been included by default. We took pictures from outside the gates.
Tour company Latin Adventures in Quito was just ok. Pick-up location was communicated by me, but never reconfirmed from them. We called and emailed, but never got a response. The morning of, myself and the other tour attendee were nervous about pick-up logistics and chance of not being picked up. We were both picked up, but about 20-30 minutes after we were told. In the end, we figured out that our separate tours were combined since Mitad del Mundo overlapped on our itineraries. It was an old SUV, and not a professional vehicle for the tour. However, the tour guide / driver was nice, professional and spoke good English. He was flexible and took us to his favorite ice cream place on the road on way back to city. I should note, that I work in the travel industry, so I might be overly harsh hah.

I had such a great day on this tour.
The driver who's name I've embarrassingly forgotten was flexible and allowed us to spend more time at the locations that interested us the most. He was friendly and welcoming. The tour at the Intiñan Museum was in-depth and so much more interesting than just a visit to 'a line'. I'd recommend this tour to anyone heading to Quito!

A lovely afternoon, perfect if you have time before a late night flight. Guide was excellent, on time, a unique experience

We booked the group tour but were the only ones on the trip, so it ended up being a private tour! We were picked up from our hotel on time and our guide was great. We stopped at the Mitad del Mundo, both the government monument and the Intiñan Museum, as well as the Pululahua Geobotanical Reserve. We also stopped at a small ice cream shop for a treat--it was a great way to spend half the day!

Wonderful trip..our guide Natalia spoke perfect English..she was very knowledgeable about the Equator and Ecuador..having a personal tour allowed us to be educated on this country...well worth the money....

Overall a very good trip. Dante is an excellent guide and I would recommend his company. Only change that I would recommend would be to allow guests on the tour the time to access the Mitad del Mundo monument site at their own cost, optional, instead of stopping outside for a quick photo opportunity.

Dante, our guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Could not have been better. The tour was awesome. The museum is really extraordinary. Our museum guide moved us through one after another experience to show the uniqueness of being at the center point of the equator. Altogether an unforgettable excursion.

Excellent service, called for at our condo by English-speaking crew in a comfortable van with good driver. Guide Natalia was very competent and personable. Intinan Museum is well worth the trip, lots of cool photo ops. But what's all this about a geobotanical reserve? Never saw it, unless it's up behind that ball thing.

This was a great experience! Spending time and learning about the equator and history of the Ecuador with the experienced tour guides at the equator was fascinating. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about Quito and the area - we had so many questions for him and he was more than happy to educate us. The tour includes a small hike in a beautiful crater that is inhabited by farmers. So pretty. Not in any tour guides so it was a special find!

Well worth the trip, interesting exhibition and a good guide

This was a great introduction to Quito and area on our first day in the city, thanks largely to our knowledgeable and affable guide, Dante. He answered every question we had honestly and enthusiastically. The short tour afforded us the flexibility to do things that were important and of interest to us. Highly recommended to get a good overview and the unique experience of visiting the equator!
