Our private Transportation and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel according to our itinerary 08.00am at 8:00 AM. We will be in touch with you one day before of your Tour to share some information about what do you need to bring. Please keep in mind that in case you're booking as a "single traveler" and there are other people that have booked as a "single traveler" on the same date. You will be put together. However, the group will not be greater than 3 "single travelers Here are a few recommendations to help you prepare: • Tennis or hiking shoes are the best choice. • Light, comfortable pants are ideal. • Please bring a rain jacket, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. • Don’t forget a water bottle. • If you have a camera with a good lens, bring it along—it’s a great opportunity to take stunning photos of hummingbirds. • Binoculars.

We had an absolutely incredible experience on this tour with Pato! From the moment he picked us up at our hotel throughout the day, we was through, knowledagble, and invested in our comfort. Birdwatching is one of my favorite things, and waterfall hikes are one of my spouse’s—and this tour combined them both! It was a wonderful addition to our honeymoon, and the chocolate finale didn’t hurt either!! Thank you, Pato!!! Book this tour if you’re thinking about it!

Mindo cloud forest trip

I had an amazing time with Kathy having stimulating conversations and seeing so many colourful birds in one day, including some that are hard to spot. The butterfly farm was cool too, although hummingbirds are definitely my favourites. Lunch was so delicious I polished the plates. Highly recommend the tour and Kathy as your guide

If there were 10 stars, he would have 10! Pato was absolutely wonderful. He explained the full day’s itinerary as we headed to our first stop, so we had an idea of his general timing of our day. He was very knowledgeable about the history, animals, and plants we saw which made what we were seeing extra special. He was also great about going with the flow. We saw a billboard for air biking (yes, it’s real!), so we took a pit stop for that. He rode as well! :) I highly recommend Pato for your Quito and Mindo tours.

Amazing Cloud Forest Experience

The entire tour was wonderful. Nice clean vehicle for transport. The bird watching was excellent and we ticked a few rare birds off our list as well. Our guide Kathy was so friendly and knowledgeable. The waterfall hike was not for the faint of heart but being so close to the waterfall was breathtaking. Lunch was at a beautiful restaurant that we had all to our selves aside from the toucans!

Mindo fun day

We had a fantastic day with Pato! He was very friendly and knowledgeable and was dedicated to making our experience special! Seeing the plethora of birds at San Todeo was a lifetime experience! We saw many wild tanagers, toucans, etc plus the many species of hummingbirds will knock your socks off. We also went for a hike to a waterfall, a volcano crater, and a butterfly farm . Also, chocolate. Wonderful day, highly recommend.

What a fabulous day with my guide Pato exploring the Mindo Cloud Forest area. Birds, chocolate, orchids, hiking, and butterflies. Went to a local restaurant with authentic food. Highly recommend for a great experience

Beautiful Mindo

Everything we did was great! Pululahua caldera was a gorgeous view. Hiking to see Nambillo waterfall was very enjoyable. Lunch was delicious. Our favorite experience by far was visiting San Tadeo Birding site. Many different species of birds are easily visible, and we loved feeding hummingbirds by hand! Many choices for places to visit.
