They will charge you $20 more for a buggy!

They wanted to charge us $20 more in person for choosing a buggy. The staff from the atv/buggy excursion knew nothing about the party bus so we had to reach out to viator and make phone calls to figure out the party boat situation and who was going to take us. We weren’t informed of the time the party boat was leaving in fact the cab driver offered to take us souvenir shopping (which we refused). Once we arrived at the dock for the party boat we were informed that our boat left. To make matters worse they didn’t want to offer us the lunch that was included. The man named “Luis” did not want to pay and at that point we were starving. And left it at that. Not the best experience especially because of lack of communication between the staff and activities. Highlight of the day? The photographer during the atv activity. He was charismatic and made it fun for everyone.

First, I’d like to sincerely apologize for any confusion and take a moment to clarify a few details based on your comments: Regarding the $20 charge — this was not an unexpected fee. The excursion you booked through Viator included ATVs. At check-in, your group requested to upgrade to the Predator vehicle, which is a higher-category machine at a higher cost. Our team explained that the price difference for this upgrade was $20 per person. That said, you are absolutely right that this should be clearly noted on the Viator listing, and we are already working on making that more transparent. As for the organization and the lunch, I was personally involved in the coordination that day. In fact, we made a special effort to elevate the lunch offering, providing a superior menu compared to our standard option, as part of our commitment to offering a top-quality experience. However, I regret if this was not communicated clearly or if you felt it did not meet expectations. Additionally, I would like to gently point out that there were delays in the itinerary caused by late arrivals at the initial pick-up point. Please know this is not a criticism, only clarification, as timing can sometimes impact the flow of the day’s activities. Regarding the driver offering to stop at a gift shop — thank you for mentioning this. He was not part of our regular team, and we are taking steps to ensure this does not happen again.
