**⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 out of 5 stars**
I recently used **Global ** and had a mixed experience. While the ride itself was smooth and the vehicle very clean, communication with the company was a serious issue from start to finish.
Upon arrival, it took **almost an hour to locate our driver**. Repeated calls and texts to the company went unanswered, and for a while it felt like we might have to book a completely new ride. Thankfully, another transportation company at the airport kindly helped us track down our driver.
Our driver, **Marco**, was pleasant and helpful once we finally connected, and the trip to our destination was comfortable. Unfortunately, the same communication problems happened again for our **return pickup**. Even though I confirmed the time and meeting place the day before departure, I was still left waiting at the curb with no clear updates from the company.
In the end, **Global did complete the service**, which is why I’m giving them three stars instead of fewer. But the stress and uncertainty—especially wondering if the company was even legitimate at times—would make me think twice before booking with them again.

Our new chapter I’m honestly left speechless by the five star hospitality that this car service provided me and my 3 friends. Did they pick us up and take us back to the airport but they also picked us up for Coco Bongo in the middle of our trip. Excellent service/drivers, This is the only company to book if you’re trying to experience five star luxury while in the DR

Great pick up initially. Departure was late and not in a Cadillac Escalade. Things happen I understand but no communication until I reached out to them. Pick up was about 45 minutes late.

Great pick up and ride from the airport. Driver (Sergio) stopped to let us enjoy the local Dominican beer (Presidente). It was great. Car was clean, luxurious, and plenty of room for me and my girlfriend. Looking forward to my pick up back to the airport.

Excellent transportation service! We did private transport in a Cadillac Escalade. Our driver, Miguel, was punctual at pick up and drop off. He was very nice and told us about common areas in the city, i.e. downtown, the mall, Macao Beach, and even stopped us at a souvenir shop.
We also used this service for private transport to our ATV excursion. Our driver, Jovino, was also punctual and kind.
I highly recommend this service.

The fact that our driver NEVER showed up!!!
…let alone with a personalized “VIP sign” that I paid for!!!
Waited for over an hour and through a series of local phone calls, from guys at the airport (NOT VIATOR) these gentleman got me taken care of with a vehicle that wasn’t what I paid for. Nevertheless, I didn’t want my vacation ruined in the first two hours, so we got in and proceeded to our resort.
Should have just gotten a cab, but I wanted it to be a memorable experience for my family who had never been to the Dominican before. Boy…it was memorable alright!!! Haha
VIATOR is a scam! I’m happy to tell everyone I know about it also.

They were there waiting to pick us up. (Use a local bag guy at the airport when you get to the DR to take your bags to the private transfer- tip them 5 or more it’s worth it). We reserved a Cadillac Escalade and we got that. Our driver was super friendly and he had cold drinks (iced down in a cooler) for us for the ride. Will definitely use them the next time I’m in the Caribbean. Excellence service!!
