This was ehhhh. The atvs were in rough shape and one of the ones we had started smoking pretty badly. The tour takes you on main roads to the beach (which is stunning, but the people hound you to purchase things) and the cave was super cool and we really enjoyed the refreshing water in it. After the cave people again try to get you to purchase things pretty aggressively. I didn’t love it.
The driver was 1 hour late, the experience was fine, no toilet paper in any bathroom & basically it’s a sales pitch… every stop they are trying to sell stuff, we never got to taste the cigarets & the Senote was so pack there was now way to go in
The ATV part of the excursion was a lot of fun. However, you are extremely rushed at the beach. It is very beautiful, but you hardly have time to enjoy yourself in the water. Once you get to the cave, you do have more time however it does not quite look like the pictures. It is very cool, but it is very dark. So you do not know, what you are getting into. Some of the ATVs kept dying on their drivers, but they were easily and quickly fixed. Ours was fine the entire trip. Do know that there will be many small children begging for money as you are passing them by. You can either go by quickly or you can give them money if you choose. But there are many. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience for the price.
Was not pleased with the service. Came one hour late didn’t even let me know they were coming late. Kept calling and they kept hanging up.
Once get to the ATV they said my booking for 2 only covered 1 ATV!?!? Friend had to come out of pocket and pay again! Annoying!
At the end of it we had to take a bus back versus the same method of transportation we took there?!?
ATV stalling was my most memorable experience! Vehicles need to be replaced; they are old and require maintenance! Hard to enjoy your adventure on the side of the road!
Also, we felt rushed at every stop and pressured to spend money; very annoying!
Bad buggies and atvs.many buggys stops with problems, mine with empty gas.bad condition and they did not bring helmets to anybody. Not secure

This entire experience was a disaster. The buggies are constantly breaking down. The locals harass you everywhere you go. The fumes make you lightheaded.

The staff were friendly enough but pretty disorganized. When the buggies broke down every 10 minutes or so they were quick to either swap your buggy out, or fix it. The sales of stuff from everyone you see got old fast. The buggies are rough and I hope you have strong shoulders and kidneys because they will both be abused. It was an interesting way to see some of the land outside our resort and it will definitely leave a memory but I’d look elsewhere.

The good: the staff was good; when there were issues with the boogies they were prompt to fix it or provide you with another one. They provide a go pro that has very good video quality. The video/photo is available for purchase. It was $100 for both. Probably could talk that price down. The ride was Lots of fun and the photographers along the way were great. The crew didn’t leave anyone behind and they made sure everyone was accounted for.
The not so good: the dune boogies are very old so about 5 people had to stop because they either had a dead battery or faulty equipment. My boogie stop 3 times and I had to stop and change vehicles but like I said they are very prompt with getting you up and running again. The helmets aren’t adjustable so it’s not really fit for children with small heads. I would suggest your own helmet with face shield.
During the route you stop at a few places. The locals will bombard you as soon as you stop out the boogies. That is very annoying to be hassled to purchase something. There are hagglers along the entire beach, the cave and the small shop and you cannot avoid them. They do give you enough time to look around but you really can’t think because everyone wants you to buy something. They specifically target America’s because they think you have money. Other than the hagglers I enjoyed the experience but I would probably book with your own hotel/resort because the company isn’t allowed to enter the front gate so you will have to meet them outside. When we booked Roberto didn’t know who our contact person was so we’re standing outside the gate looking lost because of the language barrier. Thankfully we figured it out on our own. If you are traveling and not staying in a resort then you should be fine just make sure to request a picture of the contact person

One buggy broke down a few times so the whole entourage had to wait for a long time for it to be fixed. The buggies are not in good condition at all. Then it was a super brief stop at the Macao beach for like 10 minutes max. On top of that, we did not have any "elaboration process" of anything when we arrived at the local shop . When we arrived, the other group was there sitting and listening to the presentation while we were waiting. No instruction was given by the "tour guide". When the other group finished, they did not even sit us down or show us anything. We only took a sample of a tiny cup of coffee and that was the end of it. Honestly, the buggy experience alone was fun and fine, but the other activities that were advertised were literally non existent.
