Absolutely terrific. So much fun. Mario was a great guide and the back up team were a lot of fun, too. The tequila tasting was much better than expected and I came home with 3 bottles and I never liked it before. The boat ride was a special trip around Los Arcos.
The botanical garden was beautiful. The whole day was wonderful.

This tour was so much fun! The cars are super fun and make for a nice breeze in this hot weather.
The guides are super friendly, helpful, good energy!
The stops are great. We really enjoyed the Botanical Garden and the food at the lunch stop was delicious and the view was amazing! We went out on the boat ride to Los Arcos and that was great. We could see the fish from the boat.
This tour is a great way to see and experience PV! We had a really fun day!

We had an amazing time riding the buggy around town, the lunch was delicious and snorkeling was fun, it was our first time snorkeling and I highly recommend them. Great tour guide too.

This was the funnest tour I did. Being able to drive around town in the buggys was a hit. Each stop to learn about the town was informative. Make sure you know how to drive stick shift.

This was an amazing tour. We were lucky to be the only ones who had booked for the day so we got a private VIP tour with our guide Mario who drove us around pv. We got to go to the amazing botanical gardens as well as the tequila factory. We were then taken to Ms maloya Beach where we had some amazing lunch on the beach and then had a boat ride to Los arcos and went for a swim. It was an amazing experience and we would totally do it again. Unfortunately at the end of the ride back to town the buggy broke down but luckily there was another one there that we just swapped into real quick and made our way back to town. All in all this is a very fun tour and well worth the time and money. Would totally do it again.!

Our family booked the sunbuggy tour to do during the week. We had a fabulous time on the sunbuggy and seeing the beautiful landscape of Puerto Vallarta. The tour guides were knowledgable, funny, and entertaining for the duration of the tour. Thank you for a fun experience!

other travellers should know that it’s a really good experience and all the excursions are good but the buggies frequently break down and the engines are kind of old and it’s very rusty so it’s also a stick shift. They’re personally very hard to drive but I think it’s a good experience if you get a driver.

Great tour, stops at the botanical gardens, tequila factory, great lunch at a beach front restaurant, and snorkelling/boating at Los Arcos. Christian, and Mario “the paparazzi” were great hosts. I love that all of the pictures(quite a few) are included that Mario took.

We had a great time in this tour. PLEASE don't be like me and not read the entire description. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL. None of the five adults in our group knew how to drive a manual so we paid extra to have a driver. I would highly recommend this tour.

Wow is all I can say!!!
We booked the tour the evening before. I read all of the reviews so I had a good idea of what to expect. We stayed at the Marriott and took a taxi where we were greeted by Christian and Mario. Christian was our guide and Mario was the photographer otherwise known as paparazzi or Cuba. Both made the trip so much fun!!! Their English was very good and they both really added a personal touch to the trip. We had a blast!
Check in was very smooth. You do need to show ID so don’t forget to bring your drivers license.
You are provided soft drinks and waters throughout the tour. These are complimentary.
I would highly recommend wearing gym shoes. There will be some walking on cobblestone streets.
I would also highly recommend bringing cash. The first stop is an overlook of lovers rock for a photo opportunity. There are several street vendors selling souvenirs.
Our next stop was at the botanical gardens. We had an hour of free time to do as much walking or as little as we wanted. I highly recommend looking around. The gardens are very beautiful. They do have a restaurant I would recommend going to the top and having a cocktail and taking in the view.
Our next stop was tequila tasting. That was so much fun! I think we tried nine different types of tequilas. We ended up buying a bottle and it was US$66.
Our next stop was lunch. Lunch is included, and you have a choice of four different meals. I had the chicken fajitas and my husband had the quesadillas. Both were outstanding! Lunch is on a beach and has a great view. FYI, we had to park a few blocks away from where the restaurant on the beach was. Again, you definitely need your gym shoes.
From lunch we boarded our boat. We were on a very small group of only two couples and neither of us were interested in snorkeling. FYI, the water is very cold. You’re not allowed to wear shoes on the boat so we had to take off our shoes and go barefoot. They offered to watch our belongings, but I still recommend bringing a beach bag and taking them with you.
The view was spectacular from the boat. The crew threw some food into the water so we got to see lots of colorful fish. We were so lucky we got to see three whales. Our boat followed the whales so we were able to see them at a distance, but still felt like we were very close. This was amazing!!!
All in all this definitely gets a 10 out of 10 stars! They only do one tour a day and we highly recommend it. We tipped Mario and Christian at the end of the tour and they earned every penny of it. Christian even walked us to the street and hailed a taxi for us.

One of the must do activities in PV. Too much fun driving around into the mountains, botanical garden (just beautiful), lunch at the beach, and snorkeling. Well worth the money for almost a half day fun. The team at Sun Buggy were friendly, professional, and fun and made sure to take care of everyone and made us felt safe all day. Highly recommend it. It was extra fun for me since it's been awhile I drive a stick shift. No worries if you don't know how, a SB member will drive you around.

The Sun buggy tour was amazing! Since we couldn't drive a "stick", we had drivers. We went to the botanical gardens that was up in the mountains and got to take pictures of several waterfalls. then we drove to a Tequila factory to sample different flavors. Next, we were driven to Mismas Loya beach for lunch and afterwards, a wonderful boat ride to the Arches and back.
Would highly recommend this outing.

This was our second time doing this. It was amazing again. Even though it was raining it was still amazing! Everyone is extremely friendly and always made sure we were ok with the rain. I highly recommend you experience this for yourself!!!! We will definitely do again when we return!!!! This is an amazing, exciting, beautiful, adventure you definitely need to try!!!!

Christian and Chino were a blast! They made it all fun and stress free. The Botanical Gardens was relaxing, the Tequilla was wonderful (3 bottles coming home with me!), and lunch on the beach and snorkeling at Mismaloya very memorable! Would definitely recommend it all! And beautiful Juri at the office, she was very professional and fun! I had a blast - thank you all!

Our driver, Chris, was amazing. Him and his wife welcomed us upon arrival with water and quickly allowed us to pick the car we wanted to ride in. The drive was beautiful and extremely safe. The car was so cute and was a lot of fun to ride in. The stops along the way were excellent. We really enjoyed the botanical gardens. We had a great time at the distillery. The lunch on the beach was delicious. And the guys that took us in the boat were so kind.
