Unexpected Whale Show

Ruben was wonderful. He was so friendly. We were able to see whales on the way home. Closest many of us had ever been to whales. What a beautiful experience!!

My sister and I had such a fun time on this excursion! These guys are great, know English, and love what they do. While going around the island, they took extra time to get us close to a group of spinner dolphin. Love when people go above and beyond!

This was a fantastic VIP experience. The service was excellent and our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, which made the entire tour smooth and enjoyable. The visit to the hidden beach was everything we hoped for—and yes, access was 100% guaranteed as promised. I highly recommend this option compared to the typical catamaran tours with 40+ people. This felt much more exclusive, personal, and comfortable. If you want to truly enjoy the Marietas Islands , this is the way to go!

Jellyfish galore! Season Starts in May!

I wish we knew ahead of time of booking that May (even mid to late April) is the start of jellyfish season in the area. There were so many jellyfish in the area that it was impossible to get out of the boat and into the water. While Ruben and Chewy were both professional in their operations of the boat, it was a major let down to say the least. So if you intend to go snorkeling in the area of PVT Vallarta be extremely aware of the likelihood you will encounter hundreds of thousands of jellyfish. It is not something that is well known and informed of prior to booking or prior to arrival.

Did NOT see Hidden Beach or go Snorkeling

We did not see Hidden Beach bc there were jelly fish in the water. I booked this tour bc the title said 100% guarantee. We also did not go snorkeling or see the bufadora. The main things on the itinerary we did not do! It was extremely disappointing and I felt I did not get my money’s worth for me and my 3 teenage kids. Their main activity was to go snorkeling while I wanted to see Hidden Beach.

Amazing tour. Worth every penny. We got to see the beach and even though it was overcast we got great photos. Because it was overcast and cold we didn’t snorkel, but the tour guides adjusted and took us to see whales. We probably saw 12 whales including a baby. Being on a small boat allowed us to get up close. Amazing! Highly recommend!

If you have motion sickness, take a pills before trip. The ocean waves are very strong. But very cool place to visit. Ask your gide to take cool pictures!!!

Rueben was our guide and he was amazing, really patient and was so great at spotting whales. I’d definitely recommend this trip to anyone. Also I noticed in the reviews someone said they had a hard time finding the location that the tour starts at. I did not find this to be an issue at all. The google maps pinpoint is exactly where it is so just follow that.

Memorable adventure to the Marietas hidden beach under the excellent guidance and navigation by Reuben & Chuy. While accessing the beach requires a strong swim through a cave with active currents, we enjoyed the thrill and felt very safe under Reuben’s watch. Beautiful boat ride and we got very lucky to see whales up close. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a true adventure in Puerto Vallarta.

This is not organized! There aren't any signs to give the customers directions to the company they are booked with. No one came out to meet us and show us where to go. I was told there are several companies that do the tours and I was not given the information about how to find the one I was booked with. I actually had to deal with the people from the other companies and they were complete jerk!. I was almost in tears trying to find this place and they don't care! This is a set up for failure and too much stress on a vacation.

Going step by step, I would like to tell you that there is a sign right at the entrance of the town, I will share the image with Viator so that you can see that this is true, we have a receptionist in our office, but of course, if you do not manage to get to the right point it is impossible for us to know where you are, that is beyond our reach... It really was as easy as putting the address in Maps on your mobile device and following it to the meeting point and thus avoiding encounters with other agencies and feeling the way you describe. Most of our clients manage to find us without any problem because they follow the instructions sent by Viator, or Tripadvisor depending on which means you booked through... And as you can see in the rest of the reviews, we are not a fraud nor a trap. Thank you.

Amazing boat trip to the secret beach, caves, and snorkeling was incredible- loads of all different types of fish. We saw lots of whales up close. Reuben was a great host and helped us every step of the way.

I really loved the tour! I loved how focused our guides were on safety, especially compared to the other groups we saw visiting the island. Super happy with the whole experience. They even slowed down slightly (not allowed to stop) when we saw whales on our way back (end of November).

Go with a small boat with 6 people. The swim is slightly strenuous, but the guide is there to assist if necessary. It was worth every penny spent

if you want a full day of adventure in 3-4 hours this trip is perfect for you. The exposure to different parts of the Marietas islands was amazing. The blue footed booby, the hidden beach, the snorkeling and excellent guidance to these points of interest was executed flawlessly!

Could have been better if the sea cooperated

It could have been five stars but the sea was very rough that day and getting to the hidden beach was not easy. Although the crew was very proficient, they not very engaging, which took away from the experience. Anyway, I am a very experienced open water swimmer. If there are swells getting through the tunnel to the beach - and then back - will require some decent swimming capabilities. Going through the tunnel in a swell may be too stressful for some people. They will also check for identification for anyone who looks to not meet the age requirement and not let them go to the beach. I would not recommend anyone younger than 12 go on this swim, especially if it is rough.

Worth the price and had a great time. You stop at 3 spots in total. Our guide was great and I appreciated if emphasis on safety and looking out for our wellbeing. One thing to note is that you can’t apply sunscreen on the trip to protect the coral. I would recommend anyone with sensitive skin apply reef safe sunscreen (or wear a long sleeve rash guard) before you arrive and get in the boat so you have some protection from the sun.

So many surprises! Hidden beach was incredible and we had lots of other wonderful stops and sites throughout the tour that we did not expect. The islands are incredible. Jerry, Johnny, and Captain Bolillo were awesome guides and really fun. Great mix of sharing history of the islands, wildlife observation, and letting us have a good time playing music! They were helpful with taking pictures of our family too and we captured a really memorable trip.

Our guide and driver were so attentive and took us to see whales on our way out to the island. They were also very knowledgeable about the nature we saw.
