We booked thru Viator and our tour did not show up. We called and reported it. We asked to reschedule for the next day. Our tour guide did not show up. Then when we called to inquire about it. There was no answer and no return responses. I would recommend not using this tour group. I will be disputing the charge since it was not refunded.

Ma’am unfortunately you misunderstood, because you stated that we can try to get you another guide to cover your tour for the following day, and since we were unsuccessful in finding an available guide on such a short notice, we did not confirm the tour for the following day and you WERE provided a FULL-Refund that same day! Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the island. He said he was training someone who came along with us. I was under the impression that the price included lunch, but my husband ended up paying for the bill including the meals/drinks of the guide and his trainee. I don’t think the time was realistic for what it included. Lunch took very long and we only had about 15 mins at the black sand beaches, which was the reason that I booked the tour. Felt like we spent the majority of a very beautiful day in the car/ restaurant.

Hi Dana, We apologize that you weren’t personally happy with the tour. We’re not too sure how you assumed the price included lunch as the description, states that lunch under the exclusions. 2nd we can not control the the speed of the kitchen, Puerto Rico works on island time, and food here is made to order. You also didn’t mention the stop at the el hippie waterfall and the local treats provided. Had you asked for more time, I’m sure that the guides would have given extra time, as this was a private tour.

Due to the weather, we were not able to go to the Black Sand Beach, but our tour guide Dessi improvised and catered to what we liked. We love to eat and drink, so she took us around to places we were meaning to go to in general, and showed us more local spots for food and drinks. It was kind of like a personalized food tour. We went through Guavate and learned of their traditional lechon. We also went over to Carolina and to Pinones. It was a perfect trip since the weather was bad and it was a first day in PR. We got a really exclusive experience. Hopefully we can come back and do the tour of the black sand beach.

The whole day was a lot of fun. We believe we were lucky to have Sarah as our guide for the day; she was knowledgeable and friendly to make the ride enjoyable, not to mention her photography skills to get good shots of us enjoying the “Hippie” waters or the black-sand beach. Both spots visited were unique, and we had enough time to enjoy them at our own pace. This is a must if you are looking to learn from PR.

Wasn't black at all. Couldn't swim and was very dirty. You couldn't sit anywhere. It's pointless dont waste your $$

Eranda-let’s be honest with the people please. The beach doesn’t have PLENTY of black sand. However, the full beach wasn’t black the day that you went, it was a mixed of brown and black sand. The dirtyness that you’re referring is to, was SEA WEED & and BAMBOO. Which naturally comes on the shore. There was NO GARBAGE or TRASH. However there was. FULL area of black sand. Unfortunately, unfortunately we can’t control what washes up on shore naturally and there is plenty of places to sit. You guys just chose to walk the beach instead.

Luis provided a great history of the island and the various areas we drove through. The beauty of the waterfall and swimming area are beautiful beyond words. Luis was so accomodating and fun!
