Make your way to the marina in Fajardo. As your catamaran heads into the cerulean seas, check out great views of the coastline, plus scenic vistas of nearby El Yunque miuntaunst.
Your catamaran arrives at Icacos Cay, part of a chain of small islands that comprise La Cordillera Keys Nature Reserve. If weather conditions require, your captain may navigate instead to the equally stunning island of Palominitos.
Then hop in the water for some aquatic activities, including snorkeling on the nearby reef, swimming, or beachcombing on the shore of this placid paradise.
When you start to get hungry around midday, head back to the boat and make your own sandwiches from the deli buffet. Don’t forget to enjoy a piña colada, rum punch, soda or juice from the bar.
After lunch, there's time for more snorkeling or sunbathing.
Your relaxing sailing day finishes with a return cruise back to the harbor.

- Roundtrip transportation service from San Juan is available for an additional fee. Please contact the supplier at least 48hrs prior to the excursion date to arrange it.
- For safety and operational reasons, the vessel may be changed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If needed, we may operate the tour on a power catamaran or a smaller sailing catamaran. Any vessel change will be communicated prior to the tour or on the same day.

Guaranteed great time. The captain and crew bend over backwards to make this excursion really special and memorable for your vacation. They are extremely hard workers, skilled, funny and friendly. The whole operation is extremely organized and safe. The boat was well equipped for fun and snorkeling and food/drinks. The waters around Icacos are stunning.

Our trip with East Island was the highlight of our vacation in PR. Our group was all adults, but it was a trip that I think could cater to all. Cayo Icacos was beautiful and the snorkelling was awesome! Boat was clean and very nice to hang out on and sip on a few rum cocktails. Lunch was really good and perfect after spending all day in the sun, and again the inclusive rum cocktails were a 10/10. The crew Captain Jose, Nathan, Carlitos, Javier, and Dave were awesome, friendly, and gave impecable service. I will definitely go again next year

The crew and lunch were great. The snorkeling was fine for a novice, but the area is limited for marine life. The description said we would snorkel 2 areas, but instead we snorkeled one hour at the island, then docked there for the next 4 hours to swim. I was hoping for more snorkeling. No explanation was given for why we weren't traveling to a second spot.

best day ever! the crew was amazing. Jose was our captain, and he never failed to make us laugh and check on us throughout the day. the crew, specifically Amanda, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and that our hands always had a drink in them. they even brought drinks out into the water so we didn’t have to come back up! lunch was a yummy buffet of sandwiches, fruits and chips, and the drinks were light and yummy. activities were so fun and they showed us the best spots. would recommend this excursion to anyone! so worth the price for a full 5 hours. also recommend purchasing the transportation to and from the marina. they pick you up from your hotel/airbnb and you are with the group/know exactly where to go. much cheaper than ubers!!! overall would do this all over again if we could and we will be back!!!

The crew was amazing—Christian, Adrian, and the rest of the team were fantastic. The boat ride was easy and laid back, and the entire service was exceptional. The whole experience was something I’ll never forget, and I will definitely be doing it again!

Our tour was a fun, beautiful adventure visiting the one of a kind Icacos island. Super easy check-in and boarding experience and even easier ride to the island! We had the power cat and it was really awesome! The vessel was clean, fast and open! Once we got to the island is when the real fun began! The tour staff was friendly, hospitable and made the day unforgettable. We didn’t spend one moment hungry or thirsty! During the snorkeling we had the chance to swim with a dolphin, which was truly a once in a lifetime moment. We would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The crew was so much fun! Bring something with you to collect shells! Would have been nice to have non-alcoholic beers but at least they had NA pina coladas.

This was such a fun day trip with Captain José and his crew! East Island Excursions was very organized from start to finish, and it was easy to call them up and arrange transportation between San Juan and Fajardo after booking the trip. The crew provided a good lunch and a steady flow of beverages, and an excellent playlist. It was really relaxing to hang out on the boat, in the water, and on the beach at Icacos. My 12-year old loved this boat trip. (Side note of advice: bring some cash for the crew's tip jar, they are fantastic.)

I initially booked this experience on a sailing catamaran which can only accommodate a certain number of ppl so I assumed my party of 10 would be the only participants however I received a phone call 2 days before bc the sailboat was “out of the water” so the option was given for a refund or to board a power catamaran. We chose to proceed but I have to say the powerboat was full and there were about 40 other participants. So not exactly the intimate quiet experience I initially wanted. I was also wondering if this is their “schtick”—advertise a private intimate sailboat only to turn it around on you last minute when you’ve already planned to be out on the water. But at the end of the day, it was the only boat excursion that was willing to accommodate my friend’s son who is 4 years old so I couldn’t be picky. The staff were tremendous, their energy was so fun, a the lunch was unexpectedly very good for what it was (sandwiches, fruit, bean salad). Even the Coleslaw had a Caribbean flair and was so yummy and I don’t like coleslaw. My only recommendation would be to reduce the length of time of the initial beach portion so that there is more time for snorkel but I also understand that others would prefer the opposite; but therein lies why it would’ve been better if the group was smaller and more intimate so that a consensus could be taken to cater to passenger preferences. The staff, their positivity and energy, the delicious food, the overflowing alcoholic drinks (even hand-delivered in the water), the beautiful water and beach was what brings this overall experience to a 4.9! Would be a 5+ but the beach was also somewhat crowded with other visitors on other boats but alas I am not a billionaire and so I can’t actually expect private exclusive beach access lol

Everything was 5 stars!!!! Everyone has their seating arrangement. The lunch was great for the fact we still swam, the water, soda was always available. The whole crew was fantastic and friendly. The crew was always willing to help and they kept the vessel clean and ship shape.

Upon arrival, we were directed to the parking lot up the hill, which was full. However there was space to park up the hill a little further on the grass. We weren’t sure where to walk to from there. A marina employee passing by us, guided us to where to go for check-in. Check-in was efficient with color coded wristbands for the different catamaran tours. The tour operators are very professional and well organized. We had assigned seats on the boat, which I liked. Our belongings were left in “our” space when we went ashore. It takes walking through armpit deep water to get to shore, so most of our things we left onboard. The lunch was very, very good! Plentiful. Open bar was enjoyed by all in my party of five. A beautiful and relaxing day trip to Icacos Island. Everything is super organized and efficient with the best captain and crews. You don't need to worry about a thing once you step onto the boat, and the island is absolutely gorgeous!
