Memory of a lifetime visiting Isla Palominos. Scott, our guide, chef and DJ was excellent. Set all expectations very clearly, gave great background/ nature info and commentary of the region and where we were going, history etc. He prepared us a fabulous meal. Snorkeling was terrific, but global warming is taking its toll. Saw sea turtles, rays and a decent amount of fish. Was crazy relaxing. The “Janice” was a well kept boat that was sturdy, clean and maintained well. Ricardo is an experienced Captian that made us feel safe, was very communicative and was a master of the sea. We will definitely be returning. A memory of a lifetime.

Memory of a lifetime visiting Isla Palominos. Scott, our guide, chef and DJ was excellent. It was a perfect day spent on the water.. We had the trip to ourselves. Even if it had booked the max is 6 which is so much nicer than the overcrowded other tours. The food and drinks were also wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone considering a catamaran trip

The boat was amazing! Crew was really nice and helpful, and the boat was really spacious and had a nice area to lay in the sun. They also cooked us a meal and it was delicious. We got to snorkel and spend time at the beach in Palomino, and even got to see a turtle swimming around. Overall the experience was great. The only setback was we had to pay an extra $227 total to be on a private charter because one else had booked on the same day as us, and if they didn’t have enough people they would cancel the trip.

This was my second charter on the Janis with PR Sailing. Our first mate Monica and Capt Bill were exceptional and so very attentive and engaging during our half day charter. I loved this experience two years ago and had to come back a second time. Thank you for superior service, safety and fun!

Fun and relaxing day! We saw sea turtles and weren’t even expecting that. The food was awesome. Ashley and Captain Ricardo were super friendly and professional. The food was excellent and drinks plentiful and delicious!

Absolutely wonderful day on the water. Ricardo and Ashley made the day so easy and pleasant. They suggested things we could do and pointed out marine life. Motored out to the island for snorkeling, visited a beautiful beach. Visited a sandbar which is not always visible. The boat was clean and fun. Food was great and just what we needed for a day in the sun. Highpoint of our trip so far!

We were informed after leaving the marina that because of weather we would be going to another island but not might be able to snorkel because of the weather and the weather might change. It pours as the captain predicted it would to us as the boat continued on. We stayed in the cabin with our heads in our hands or down while it rained and the poor captain and 1st mate had to get soaked. There was no trampoline visible on the catamaran either. I contacted the company and the owner texted me that he would be in touch. That never happened. They told us the only way the cruise would go out with not enough people was to pay an additional fee. We said we were flexible and that was fine if that's what it took because this activity sounded so fun. They do NOT cancel because of weather. They expect you to sit anchored in the rain until the captain asks if we can head back because the storm is getting worse. We, of course, enthusiastically replied "finally! We've been waiting!" This was an outrageously expensive waste of time, a long drive from San Juan, and the only good thing was the poor crew.

We’re very sorry your day charter was not as expected. The weather forecast was monitored and we expected some rain and then it was supposed to clear by 9:30 am. Our USCG certified captain happily agreed to work on the charter, as in many other charters where the weather is not perfect. Our charters get canceled only when there is severe weather. It was supposed to rain on and off, but weather in Puerto Rico is very unpredictable.
We decided to go ahead and refunded the extra amount we charged the customer to confirm her charter and make it private.
Hopefully we can meet again in a future sunnier day charter.

Excellent experience, fun & professional crew (Marco, Adrian, capt. Robert & one more). Awesome, cleanest vessel "Barefoot IV", provided the snorkeling gear, great music, drinks & destinations were fantastic! This was the best part of our trip to PR! Highly recommend & will book again.

Great experience! Captain Bill and first Mate Scotty were great . Scotty cooked a great lunch and Captain Bill was very informative about our tour. Captain Bill even let my son sail the boat back. It was a trip my family will never forget.

Wonderful trip on a clean, friendly, accommodating boat with Ricardo and Ashley. A nice trip on the water, snorkeling, and beach lounging if you choose (we chose to float and snorkel all excursion!) The provided lunch was such a nice added touch. It was delicious, lean, and healthy. Drink selection was great. This was a 10/10 experience.

I had one of the most wonderful days of my life. Thanks to PRSailingTrips for make my dream of a sailing day true. The experience was better than expected. The catamaran was great, captain Ricardo, as well as Ashley, were so kind and very professional assiting us. Safety were always the most important thing. The lunch was delicious, the snacks and drinks were excellent and the personalized attention of both with me and the other passengers were the best. I recommend them 100%. Definitely, I will come back for the afteroon sailing watching the sunset.

We loved being on the water with Ricardo and Ashley. It was relaxing and chill. They were very attentive with food and drink and otherwise just let you relax on the boat and in the water. It was nice to sail part of the time.

We had such an amazing experience, from start to finish the day was exceptional! The food and drink was a great addition to a wonderful day. We felt so relaxed having so many options of what to do, where to sun and sit while sailing. The intimacy of the day made it even more memorable. Our Captain, Ricardo, and First Mate Scott were attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable. We felt very safe; would highly recommend this excursion!

Very relaxing half-day sailing trip, with swimming, snorkeling, snacks, and lunch. Everything was extremely well organized, the food was good, the swimming and beach were great. The snorkel equipment was fine, and we did see a range of relatively small, colorful fish, but it was not the most memorable snorkeling.

Despite some unfortunate weather (rainy), we had a blast! The captain and first meet were attentive and friendly, and made it a really fun time. We were brought to a beautiful location where we were able to snorkel… And even saw stingray!! The kids loved the floating mat. The kids popped popcorn and enjoyed a ride on the front of the boat around some of the islands. We highly recommend and would definitely consider booking next time we visit (hopefully sunnier weather)!

Great guides, made us feel right at home on the boat! The boat was lovely, with comfortable accommodations for all.
Found an excellent snorkeling spot on the Pyramid reef - perfect opportunity to see the fish and corals up close! Not a ton of other boats around like some other snorkeling destinations - definitely felt more relaxed.
Kiddo had fun on the beach during our second stop, and relaxing listening to the ocean was great. Kiddo and dad even got to try their hand at steering for a bit on the sail back!
Lunch and snacks were delicious, a good assortment of beverages were available for all. Overall an excellent excursion - would recommend for families or small groups.

This snorkeling trip was a highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. Great detailed instructions prior to trip, we took an Uber from Condado and in 45 minutes were at a beautiful marina in Fajardo. The captain met us on a golf cart and wisked us away to the catamaran where his co-captain was waiting for us with fresh fruit platter and some general instructions on the boat safety. We were accompanied by another couple, and as a small group, we sailed for about an hour to a remote island. Sitting on the front of the catamaran, breeze, light waves - looking over the water and archipelago islands - unforgettable! While me and my teen son snorkeled, the captain made the most delicious lunch of chicken, rice, fresh veggies. The island was next to a beautiful reef and the fish and sea creatures were breathtaking. My 14 year old said it was like being a part of Nemo cartoon. After lunch, we made one more stop on the other side of the island where I swam to the beach and we saw sea turtle and various other fish. This was such a treat and an absolute must if you are in the area. As we boarded, we saw other large groups being shoved on a small boat. If you can, pay the extra price for this private experience because it will be so worth it.

This was an incredible excursion. I've done other "sailing" trips in huge groups where they maybe raise one sail for 30 minutes out of a 6 hour trip and claim you've gone sailing. The smaller guest list allowed for a more personalized experience and as such Captain Ivan made sure to sail as much as possible at my request. 1st mate Monica kept us supplied with drinks and food throughout the day, I felt completely pampered! We sailed to Palomino Island for some snorkeling followed by a delicious lunch. Our group of 2 couples and myself really jelled, when we anchored off of Ramos Island our group spontaneously decided to swim to the beach and back while cheering each other on the entire time. If you are debating whether to do this trip, I highly recommend it - well worth the extra cost over the big-group sailing excursions.

Incredible trip! Excellent service & engaging conversation - this sailing excursion was perfect! We started out with some minor engine troubles that made us embark an hour late - but they kept serving us fresh fruit, & fresh salsa with chips until we were ready to sail.
We got to visit two different snorkeling spots, and ended up staying out an extra 1.5 hours to make up for the earlier delay. Would rate this tour 10 stars!

Capt Ricardo and First Mate Monica were excellent! Dont even bother with the cattle call snorkeling ventures. Make sure to call ahead to get the slip number. You will need it to get into the marina.

We had a safe, quiet trip to Isla Pineros and back ... definitely one of our favorite activities while visiting Puerto Rico! Captain Ricardo and First Mate Charlie were consummate professionals throughout, providing the perfect balance of attentiveness and privacy. We encouraged First Mate Charlie to publish a cookbook as everything he prepared was tasty and beautifully presented. We're convinced Captain Ricardo is Captain Barbossa personified, and we'd happily sail the entirety of the Caribbean Basin with him at the helm.
