This tour was such a disappointment. While the tour operator was good enough to pick us up at the hotel in the morning, the rest of the tour went downhill. Our captain did not seem interested in getting us out on the water quickly and did not keep up with the other boats while we were whale watching. At one point we counted 17 boats in the water when we were all together, and they would leave to go find the next whale spotting, while our captain did not seem interested in joining them. I am sure the people in the other boats saw much more than we did. He seemed to be on his phone a lot, but if did not lead to us going anywhere to see whales or dolphins. Hopefully this was a one off and others had a different experience

The whale sightings were spectacular and swimming with the dolphins was awesome. The guides were excellent. A must do activity when visiting Puerto Escondido

We saw whales, dolphins and sea turtles - it did not disappoint! We were on the water for 3.5 hours which felt like quite a long time. We sailed out about 6 miles to sea to where dolphins had apparently been spotted. However, the captain of the boat decided to catch a massive Mahi Mahi fish, the same day as the big Mahi fish competition? SO we think there was an anterior motive for sailing out so far.. but sort of added a bit extra to the show.

We were so lucky to see turtles, whales and dolphins! Roberto was an amazing tour guide with the best customer service! He went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing experience. I highly recommend this tour!
