Once you arrive, embark on a guided tour that hits all the highlights of the important Mayan site. You also have the opportunity to explore further on your own after the tour's conclusion.

Move on to the next phase of your adventure: an ATV ride through the Mayan jungle. Keep an eye out for local flora and fauna on the way to the snorkeling site, where you can swim in an underground river among unique rock formations.

Refuel with a traditional Mexican buffet lunch, including grilled meats, salad, beans, rice, and chips, accompanied by soft drinks and mineral water.

It was a 5star experience. Armando was an excellent guide. Friendly, clear and patient. It was a small group of 8 and we all had fun. The ATVs were maintained, the cenote was a great experience and the food was traditional with lots of options.

Not enough time at Tulum Ruins.

Chris_B, Mar 2026
ATV, underground river, and lunch were good. Ruins were focused on cross selling products from vendors, pushing souvenirs and tastings. First 30 min of tour at ruins was good about Mayan history and culture. But leaving less than 1 hour to walk around the ruins was not enough time even if you were to run around. They insisted that the van would leave if we were not back in time. We arrived back in the meeting place (in the middle of a tourist market place) on time. The van did not leave until 45 min later. It seemed more important that people were given more time to shop.

Everything was well organized and I had a lot of fun. I didn’t feel rushed but still got to do a lot

It's rained but still had a good time, the guides were great. ATV ride was awesome the group had a good time.

Great trip but guide should have been more informative about Tulum

Kelly_W, Feb 2025
Our guide to was Jorge and he wasn't very chatty or informative about Tulum and he walked way too fast through it. We learned way more about Tulum from other tour guides we passed. He was much more informative and engaged about the cenote caves. The lunch provided was ok nothing special but the 2 bottles water Jorge provided were very welcome. Overall though we enjoyed this tour

A Blast

Fabian_C, Nov 2024
Absolutely Loved the whole package ATV’s Cenotes Lunch It was definitely worth it I highly recommend it

Would not try again

Sunny_D, Mar 2024
Never picked us up. Tried to blame us for the wrong pick up time when we had confirmation via message from the tour provider. Tour company tried to lie and said we were no show. Ended up getting partial refund from via Viator and had to dispute the rest.

Thank you Armando!

Exhilarating and Educational

Thomas_F, Jul 2023
Overall this tour was exhilarating, educational, and a great way to break up our vacation. We had a wonderful experience from the time we were picked up at our hotel to the time we returned. Our tour guide (Jazmin)for the ATV ride and cenote swim in the caverns was attentive and educational. Our guide for the Tulum ruins was equal parts entertaining and educational making our overall experience fun even during the sweltering heat. I definitely would recommend this experience to anybody and everyone family’s and couples alike.

Great time with teens!

Ronald_V, Jun 2023
Everything was great! Very organized, timely but not rushed! I recommend using the regular life vest even for good swimmers so you can relax and enjoy the cenote.

Extremely fun!

Nataliia_S, Feb 2023
Everything was great, organized and a great guide. Highly recommended! Everything was on time, we did not wait a minute and a very friendly atmosphere

Was ok but not worth the cost.

Marla_J, Dec 2022
Very long wait for the ATV, not enough information given on what to expect in The cenote and why we had to wear life jackets. Life jackets didn’t fit well and were very uncomfortable. Tour guide was amazing and was the saving grace of the day. Taxi driver very good as well. Not enough time at the market in Tulum.

ATV Xtreme Tour, Cenote, Tulum Ruins.

Alexter_A, Jun 2022
ATV extreme was amazing, but you go through this 20 minute spiel of buying 10 or 15 American US insurance for the ATV. They have signs that scare you into buying or else it will cost you 600-2000 American US to fix. I saw our guide ram into an ATV with no regard of the damage it may have caused. If you're careful and don't go too crazy, you'll be fine. The cave is amazing as well. But they have a no shoes in the water policy, so be prepared to feel some slimy stuff under your feet. Listen to the guide and blow up your life vest. We had a member almost drown. Do tour the cave and go to the back to see the "Top Entrance", with the sunlight shining down and through, it's great. Stick your head in the water and snorkel, it's crazy how deep it goes. The Tulum Ruins are a wonder. It was super hot when we went. So bring an umbrella. I was overhearing the other tour guides. They all have their own tidbits, so listen to them throughout the way. It was a great tour altogether. I'd definitely do it again.

Edna is amazing!!! Thank you for being the best tour guide and teaching is to much about Mexico!! We can not wait to come back.

Lots of fun!

Yuting_S, Nov 2021
Great tour. We had lots of fun! Wished we had a bit more time at the Tulum ruins but we will go back again for that. At Tulum ruins, we were able to get in front of the line while lots of people were waiting in the regular line at the entrance. The ATV and cenote were also great. Would recommend this tour to others!

ATV NOT Extreme at all -- Waiting Tour

Hector_B, Aug 2021
We went with a group of 7 and chose this tour based on the reviews and the length of the trip (~7 hours per the page). Here were the problems with this god-awful waiting tour. (1) They jammed us into a van with 8 other people and poor air conditioning. Now, our group of 7 became a group of 15. The back row of the van has 4 seats sized for a 12-year old. Now imagine squeezing four 180-pound adults back there! We were literally dripping sweat because there was no air circulation despite the AC being on full blast. (2) The history of the cenote was interesting, but as a tour, just okay. (3) We waited about an hour without exaggeration to actually start riding the ATVs, which was ONLY 45 min long. The trails were man-made crushed limestone/dirt paths and not really "through" the jungle. We constantly stopped to wait for the rest of the group to catch up. I've been on other ATV tours in Costa Rica and Mexico that say "6 hours" and you get about 4 hours of GREAT riding time. The problem here was the size of the group caused a lot of delays and just standing around. (4) The Tulum ruins were the best part of this tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and great to listen to. This would be the only reason to give this review a higher rating, but with all the waiting done before this and the price of this tour as a whole, I just can't justify it. Just for reference, we were staying in Riviera Maya, took about 40 min to get to cenote/ATV, ate lunch, then drove ~30 min to Tulum ruins, and then back to the hotel about 45 min away.

Request Henry if you are a rookie

Vanessa_A, May 2021
The best excursion ever! Henry was definitely the best guide for this. My friend and I got scared during the atv ride because it was VERY rocky—Henry eased our nerves. I would highly recommend taking insurance if you are inexperienced driving an atv. Also, we couldn’t swim and Henry guided us through this beautiful underground cenote. I regret not doing the zip line, but I will be back!

Tulum

JR_W, Jan 2021
Seeing Tulum and the ruins was cool. ATV tour was fun. Snorkeling was scary but cool to do. Snorkeling gear did not work for me.

The tour was great! We felt safe during the ATV tour, the course was well maintained and the cenote was beautiful. Tulum was very beautiful. We felt the activities could have been scheduled differently, as it was extremely hot at the ruins in the afternoon. We werent aware of the order of activities

This tour was great. Our driver Flavio picked us up at the hotel and then he was with us all day. He made sure we were okay and having a great time. ATV, our guide was Flavio and Herlan. Both men were very helpful. Then when we got to Tulum Ruins, our guide Ernesto was very informative. My cousins and I had a great time. Thanks guys!
