It was amazing despite the transportation being late 30 mins. The staff was nice and receptive. Recipes were great. Lots of food don’t eat before showing up to this event.

Fabulous experience. We really enjoyed the market tour and fruit tasting. All the food we made was delicious! Tom yam soup, noodles, curry and mango sticky rice. Our teens loved every minute? Highly recommend

This was one of the most amazing experiences to date (not just in Phuket but the world).
The equipment was all working and easy to use. The class began in the market where we can see where the fresh food is and to understand some of the ingredients that we’d be using in the class to cook our own foods. We were also able to taste local fruits so come ready and open to try new fruits (with exceptions to any allergies you might have).

VJ and the lovely kitchen assistants weee so helpful and the energy was spot on. The recipes were easy to follow and they shared them at the end.
The same family who runs this restaurant also has other business in around the area (TailorPro - tailoring custom suits, shirts, and dresses and more and at least one restaurant called Magic Masala).
Truly best in class activity here. I am still flying high from the lovely experience. They helped all and the class has something like 12 people that day! We were able to prep and cook our own ingredients. They laid out all of the ingredients in such a neat organized manner so that it was easy to underlay and what we were doing!
Lovely experience and we highly recommended it to any one we met throughout phuket and upon returning home.

Fantastic morning spent with VJ, both the market visit and the cooking class were excellent fun and educational at the same time. I attended on my own and was made to feel very comfortable. I learnt how to make four different dishes, the Tom Yum Soup being my favourite and I was amazed as to how easy and quick it was to make once the expert showed me how.

If you would like to experience AUTHENTIC Thai cuisine from a knowledgeable instructor this is the experience for you! We began in the morning going to the market. VJ gave us a walking tour while gathering ingredients (fruit, poultry, seafood, spices, herbs) which we would later use to prepare our four course meal. Upon arriving to a pristinely clean, well organized, and air conditioned cooking studio, we were met by friendly kitchen assistants. VJ provides a great balance of providing education, instruction, and independence for any one who attends. The ability to have individual work stations, a great pace between preparation/courses, and immediate follow-up (written recipes emailed) made this both an enjoyable & memorable experience.
