Chef Jim and Sally were the prefect hosts for a wonderful cooking class on a rainy day.
I was picked up at the door of my hotel for the short journey to the venue for our class.
Chef Jim has a fabulous sense of humour and Sally is an excellent host.
We made four dishes, and each stage was made simple, informative and interesting. There was never a dull moment.
Some of my group brought children, and they were very well looked after by the team, making sure they were able to follow along without taking from the experience of the adults. Jim’s sense of humour perfectly adapted to his clients, as we were a mix of nationalities.
With so many cooking classes on offer, it’s difficult to choose, but Jim and Sally made this experience entertaining, fun and delicious. I look forward to attempting to recreate or meal when I get home.

This cooking class could not have been better. I learned a lot and I got to control how spicy my dishes were. The instructor was funny, thoughtful, quirky and expert. I cannot recommend it enough.

Jim made the whole class a very fun entertaining adventure. The day of our Thai Cooking Class there were only 4 of us, but I’m sure even if there were 20 in the class Jim/Thai Chef Instructor would have the energy to make it special for everyone! We made Mango Sticky Rice( in 4 Colors ) Tom Yum Soup, Green Curry( made are own paste)
and Pad Thai( forward-back-flip🤪) would highly recommend this experience. All our food turned out amazing and we all enjoyed a nice lunch together. The Market experience with Jim was educational and fun as well

Decided to take a cooking class in Phuket to learn more about Thai cuisine. Jim was our master chef. He gave a detailed cooking presentation on procedures and several useful tips in preparation for the food. All participants prepared from scratch a dessert and a few main dishes. Afterwards, we all sat down and enjoyed the meal together!

The cooking class was amazing. We made papaya salad, Tom yum soup with chicken as we don’t like shrimps, pad Thai and mango sticky rice. Tim was amazing, very accommodating and very skilled and made the cooking class good fun with lots of laughs. A great morning highly recommend!

My family and I, including kids age 6 and 8, did Jim's cooking class and absolutely LOVED it. We did the market tour too and loved learning about the different ingredients before heading to the cooking class. Jim is hilarious and knowledgeable. You ou can tell he is a very good chef. My kids participated more than I thought they would and they were over the moon during the experience. It was a highlight of their Phuket experience. All the food made were delicious and we barely had any leftover despite making 3 dishes plus mango sticky rice. I would highly highly recommend everyone visiting Phuket attend Jim's cooking class. We hope to return in the future with the kids to do this again!

Jim is so much fun and I learnt so much. It's great I'm just sad as I forgot my notes. The food was delicious and Jim catered for my shellfish allergy which was great no epipen required. Funniest was Jim and the pad thai scoop back forward scoop move move move. We all were to scared to stop but was absolutely beautiful and well worth the effort.

The whole experience start to finish was so entertaining and insightful. Jim went through all the ingredients in detail both in the market and in the class, this gave us a deeper experience knowing why we are using the ingredients. Jim speaks great English and has knowledge of many cultures making everyone feel welcome. The food we made was so delicious and looked amazing, one of the dishes was even better than one I've tried in Thailand!

Jim is amazing. It starts with a fun van pick-up, an informed market tour, and then a very detailed step-by-step to collectively prepare the ingredients and then cook your own three-course meal. Thoroughly enjoyed the time with Jim (his lego collection is also a must-see!).

An exceptional time spent with Jim. He picked us up from our hotel in person. The market tour was informative and interesting and we had so much fun learning how to cook Thai food with a great deal of laughter throughout. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Jim and Sally were the best! We had such a great time learning about the different fruits and how to prepare some of our favorite dishes. The food turned out delicious and while we cooked we laughed and enjoyed ourselves. Jim combines cooking with comedy. This was one of the highlights of our trip!
