We booked the 2-hour ATV tour, and it was easily the highlight of our trip! 🏔️ The Highlights * The Big Buddha: We were lucky it was open during our visit. The guides were incredibly generous with the time they allowed us to explore this iconic landmark, ensuring we didn't feel rushed at all. * The "Edge Swing": A total surprise! This swing offers breathtaking panoramic views of the entire island—a perfect hidden gem of the tour. * The Course: It was a "proper" ATV trail—challenging enough to be thrilling but safe enough to be pure fun. 📸 Content Creator’s Dream The guides are absolute pros when it comes to photography. They knew all the perfect vantage points and, to our surprise, proactively used our phones to take high-quality videos of us while we were riding. Having those action shots to look back on is priceless! 🛠️ Exceptional Service & Small Details What sets this tour apart is the staff. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly proactive. We were really impressed by the attention to detail: * Dust Control: They intermittently watered down the tracks to keep the dust at bay. * Gear & Hydration: They provided face masks and kept us supplied with plenty of cold water throughout the heat. * Flexibility: With multiple start times and duration options, it fits any schedule. * Pro Tip: We went for the full 2-hour option, which actually ran a bit longer because of the extra time at the Big Buddha. It is well worth the money for the full experience. Bonus: this tour includes pick up from where you’re staying. Make sure to select your pick up point upon booking. Book well in advance and if your place isn’t listed on the list of pick up points, pick one nearest yours, message the tour company via the Viator app and give them a google link of where you’re staying. They will happily accommodate you, which is a huge convenience. Then, upon completion of the tour, you may request to be dropped off elsewhere (like another beach, another POI in the island) instead of back to your hotel/Airbnb/villa, etc) and they’ll happily accommodate this too. We selected the 0900 start of the tour and finished by 1200 noon, which gave us the rest of the day to explore more of Phuket at our own pace. So instead of taking us back to where we were picked up, we asked to be dropped off at Patong Beach for a nice lunch, then parasailing and jetski amongst other beach side fun activities.
