Itinerary

After hotel pickup in the Phoenix metro area, including Scottsdale and Mesa, get comfortable in your luxury van for the drive to Grand Canyon National Park. Make a photo stop along Route 66 where you can stretch your legs and snap views of this historic highway.

Reaching your destination at the South Rim, the crown jewel of your day trip begins with your Grand Canyon helicopter tour. After a saefty briefing, board a state-of-the-art chopper and buckle up for the scenic flight, following the Colorado River toward the canyon’s eastern end. Your pilot soars above the Kaibab National Forest and through the Dragon Corridor—the widest and deepest part of this incredible natural wonder.

Upon landing, soak up more scenery at a lookout point. After, enjoy free time to explore the various lookout points along the rim as you snap photos and learn about the Grand Canyon's natural history.

After ample time at the national park, you’re driven back to Phoenix.

Starting Jan 1st, 2026, the tour supplier is required by law to confirm US or Non-US citizenship which will determine if an additional entry fee is required. For non-US citizens, the tour supplier must collect an additional $100 per person, payable in advance to the tour supplier.
The maximum weight limit per person is 275 pounds. Guests over the weight limit (275+ lbs) will be required to purchase 2 seats. This is payable direct to the tour operator prior to the tour date.
Arizona state law requires children under 8 years to have either a child seat or booster. Child seats are not provided, please bring your own and notify supplier

Minimum age is 3 years and guest must inform supplier they will provide car seats or boosters.
Wheelchairs and walkers are acceptable as long as they fold up and can be slid into the vehicle without assistance from tour guide. The helicopter cannot accommodate wheelchairs or walkers. You must let the supplier know if you are bringing either.
We do not guarantee pickup for all hotels. Even if your hotel is on the list, there may be a chance you'll need to meet at an alternate location. Any guest staying outside of Phoenix, Scottsdale or Tempe will be required to meet at an alternate location to be determined by supplier. Tour supplier contact details will be provided on your pre-paid voucher.
The Grand Canyon South Rim is a 7,000 foot elevation, please note this if you have concerns about altitude.
There is NOT a restroom on the vehicle. Comfort stops are made throughout the day.
You must let the supplier know if there are any mobility concerns that they should be aware of.
Minimum numbers apply for the public small group tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS: Any tours booked after 7:00PM Arizona time the night before the tour date might not be confirmed. You will likely have to meet at another hotel for pick up. Our office will contact you prior to 6:00am on the tour date.

Mark has a good knowledge of the places and he had been explaining and entertaining us all the way through the journey to the Grand Canyon. It was a great experience all together; last but not the least, the View from the helicopter is just worth watching it live, great tour !

3 agents told me wt of passengers for helicopter tour had to be less than 1500 lbs. got to tour and told 1100. 1 person couldn’t go and couldn’t get refund.

Hello, Your travel agent booked this through a 3rd party company. No where in our tour listing does it say that 1500 lbs can be accommodated on the helicopter. We have no idea where that number came from, as 1500 lbs has never been allowable on the helicopter. Furthermore, the weights we were provided upon booking were highly inaccurate - the group ended up weighing a total of 175 lbs OVER what we were given. That makes a huge difference. The other helicopters were sold out, otherwise they would have been able to accommodate splitting up the group. We are on the hook for the one helicopter seat, which is why we cannot issue a refund. This was an impressive experience.🥰🙏 The walks around the Grand Canyon were wonderful 🤩 + we were lucky to have a perfect weather on that day ☀️. Thus, we were able to fully enjoy the fascinating views 🏔️ ✨ and took lots of photos 📸. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Staying in Scottsdale Arizona. Aldo our driver, picked us up we did the Grand Canyon tour and the helicopter ride. The whole experience was perfect. How does enthusiasm toward life country and nature is contagious I couldn’t imagine anyone else being our driver thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The tour was absolutely fantastic especially because of our driver Aldo. He was knowledgeable on all aspects of the tour, made plenty bathroom/ rest breaks, as well as carried his great sense of humor through out the whole trip. He is very big on family/ community, so traveling with him for 13 hours is everything you want if you want to fully be immersed in a type of tour like this! Easily the other best part of the trip was the helicopter ride; you see the entire canyon, top to bottom, nothing close to what everyone else sees on the ground. A high recommend for anyone wanting a bucket list checking experience, there’s no other way to be seeing the canyon. The day was long but nothing but enjoyable and fun traveling through Northern Arizona. You see lots of wildlife, hear tons of AZ history and most important, don’t have to drive!

Victoria worked really hard to find a pick up spot that was accessible to me without a car. Turned out to be right at my hotel, which was super fantastic. Steven was a great guide and driver. Brought us to a good lunch spot. Many "comfort" stops/"bio breaks" and chances for snacks. My group was nice and quiet. Everyone was on time to the meeting spot, mostly. My helicopter ride was cancelled due to weather. I was refunded that portion immediately.

We enjoyed Williams, AZ on route 66. The helicopter flight was absolutely amazing. Our driver, Tracy was so friendly and informative. Tracy took us to two different parts of the south rim and it was so beautiful! I recommend this tour to everyone considering going to the Grand Canyon!
