Itinerary

After pickup at your hotel or the cruise port at your selected time, jump on the subway bound for Nydalen. Inside the metro station, observe the art by Kristin Jarmund, filled with light and color, which is meant to take the humdrum out of residents' daily commute.

Walk along the River Akerselva in Nydalen, lined with Norwegian woodland and waterfalls. See where locals like to spend their leisure time fishing and swimming before heading for the bus station. Board a bus and begin your journey to the Bygdøy Peninsula.

Follow your guide down the area's walking trails to the Kon-Tiki Museum, dedicated to Thor Heyerdahl, who crossed the Pacific on a balsa wood raft in 1947.

Return to the Oslo city center via ferry.
