Really insightful tour to understand the origins and story of the great man, Bob Marley. We were lucky to have the legendary Captain Crazy as our guide who was an amazing character and storyteller – full of charm wit and endless jokes. Crazy by name, crazy by nature.

Do NOT Book with them!! Very unprofessional take your money and don’t deliver on service I’m still waiting to be picked up for my excursion with no communication with them! I feel like it’s a SCAM! Do not book with them!

Hi, As we are aware that you are upset about not getting to experience the bob marley experience please do not spread lies about being ripped off… There was bad weather that day and we decided to not proceed with the tour, we had Viator cancel the tour that morning with a full refund, it was advised not to reach out to the customer after canceling a tour by said Viator. We had been notified multiple times that you have received a full refund. After Viator issues a refund it takes 2-4 business days to reflect in your account.
Please remove these negative reviews as we followed the guidelines by Viator on canceling an excursion.

I loved the experience. Tour is about a hour. If you are a Bob Marley fan this is a must. See where he was born and is resting. Heard some reggae and also took a shot. The only “con” part is the traffic and the narrow, it took us almost 2 hours from Ocho Rios but our driver Andrew is so awesome and knowledgeable that was worth it. Definitely recommend

It was a nice but not what I was expecting. For the price there was nothing included. Tickets at the house was 35$ and didn't offer much more than a few rooms and the mausoleum. Our tour guide during the tour was at times rude to the guest.
Our driver was nice and offered lots of information but just the person before said he offered to take our pic and took one with our camera and with his. It would have been nice if he would just ask instead of doing it with our permission.

The driver asked us to take a picture Infront the Bob Marley murals before we go for our tour. Then I saw him snapping pictures with a different phone so I asked him if he taking pictures of us without asking and what was the picture for. He said to post a review. So i told him I will do the review and post my picture. I asked him to delete the pictures he took of us. He did not speak to us all the way on the journey back to the hotel. He more upset than us. I won't recommend his tour. That is unprofessional.

This tour is absolutely amazing!! Our driver Jayden was very knowledgeable of the Jamaican history. The ride up to 9 mile is more than the estimated hour. You travel up a very narrow, winding road while passing through 2-3 villages/towns. Once you get to 9 mile you will tour his grandparents home, then the home he lived in until he was 13. You will also see his burial place along with other family members. The only con I have is the ganja they sell on site. The Ganja is TRASH! It’s some sort of synthetic herb. All my real 420 family will understand. Outside of that everything else was perfect.

Andrew was an amazing tour guide and driver. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the area. On the way back from the tour, he took time to take my husband and I to a market to show us which authentic curry seasoning to purchase. Would absolutely recommend to others.

Tour operator picked us up very promptly, gave us a lot of info about different areas on the way to Nine Miles, our only concern was that the driver was on his phone constantly on the way to Bob Marley and also on the way back.
The tour itself was good, but there was a lot of steps, although not a problem for us, it may be an issue for someone with mobility issues, also you were constantly requested to tip different areas of the tour.

Jason was an excellent guide! He was very informative on all things local culture, geography, and Bob Marley! He facilitated our arrival to 9 mile and we were fortunate to have Benji as our on-site tour guide. His depth of information about the Marley Family and Bob was vast and deeply moving. He was able to contextualize with ease the events and settings of Bob’s life with his powerful lyrics. The adults enjoyed flaming rum shots and fantastic music from the live band. The restaurant had wonderful food offerings for purchase and several gift shops for souvenirs.

Great trip. Jason our guide was excellent - punctual, polite, engaging and informative. He was also a very safe driver- not all those on Jamaican roads are! He made the long drive to Nine Mile interesting and enjoyable.
The tour at Bob Marley's Mausoleum was also very good. The guide was quite a character, but he was also a very good guide.
In all, it was an excellent trip.

By far the best. From the rum shots, to the music and knowledge about the legend. This is a resting place of Mr. Marley, his mother there and brother. Your shoes MUST be removed before you enter the sacred area. If you don't want to remove your shoes, show some respect and don't venture near the resting place.

Me, my sister, and my friend was excited about this excursion, however, our driver Jason Johnson started off as professional, and then he ended up being a creep. When we got to nine mile, I asked Jason if he could take a picture of us. He took pictures of us off my phone and then snuck pictures of us off his phone. My sister realized what he was doing and so I confronted Jason. I asked him to delete the pictures of us due to safety purposes. During the tour, some random guy in a pink striped shirt was following us around the entire time and tried to record us off his phone. He kept making inappropriate facial expressions at us. I ended up leaving the tour because we all felt uncomfortable. They charged us 9 dollars for water bottles, and when we got back to the resort. I made Jason show us his photo gallery in his phone to make sure he deleted those pictures of us. The men in Jamaica are very aggressive and don’t understand NO! I’ll never do this excursion again! Oh yeah, and it rained really bad.

The guy at the bob Marley sells weed to the people on the tours, he was definitely trying to get your attention to ask if you wanted anything.
