Super great tour and experience. Got to see how they hand roast coffee on the Blue Mountain and tour the farm as well. We got to take home lots of freshly picked fruit as well. Our tour guide, Tevary, was very nice and fun.

We had a very good time today! Tevary went out of the way to make sure my friend and I not only have lots of fun, but also learn about Jamaica’s history/culture, as well as local fruits. We highly recommend Dr Fun tour with Tevary. This is truly a local-style trip.

This was our favorite trip while we were in Jamaica. Delton made us feel welcome and safe. The trip to the Blue Mountains and a local coffee farm was amazing. Delton provided so much insight on Jamaican history, culture and nature. You can feel the pride he has in his country. I highly recommend visiting Jamaica and booking a tour with Dr Fun, you’ll be so very glad you did.

One of my favorite excursions ever and definitely best on our Jamaica trip. Traveling with my 8 year old son and 71 year old mother. We all loved this excursion. Grateful for our tour guide Tevary. He was awesome. Learned so much about the island and culture. Felt like we were locals/family for the day. If you are coming to Jamaica, this is a must with the best tour guide.

Delton from Dr Fun tours picked us up perfectly on time to leave for this full day private tour. It is a pretty long drive to the blue mountains, but time went by fast as Delton was telling stories and giving an incredible amount of insights into jamaica and its people. On the winding Road while dodging the potholes we climbed up the blue mountain road. The first stop took us to a tiny coffee farm, an option to try the hand roasted blue mountain coffee. Then we decided to take the nature option and visit the national park. It has a number of excellent trails to walk. The weather up there was not favourable so we only did one of the trails. All in all a great tour with plenty of options to customize, a great guide and a good chance to get away from the super touristy attractions on the coast.

My parents & I spent the day with Johnson on this tour! We had a great time; he was enthusiastic, kind, helpful, and informative.
We were able to see so much in one day, and he made sure we stopped to try some local food.
The tour itself is stunning! Very worthwhile to spend the day seeing the mountains of Jamaica!! We would recommend this tour wholeheartedly, and we’d absolutely recommend Johnson!! Thank you!!

Mr Johnson was our guide and oh my god. The best tour Jamaica has to offer! The ride down is about two hours from Ocho rios but we had the best time! We met up with the locals at the top of the mountain and we were shown the coffee and all of the agricultural that he grows out there. By far the best experience and if you go MAkE SURE YOU Ask for Mr. Johnson. Thank you all for showing us the beauty of your country! ❤️

The blue mountain tour was incredible! Delton 'Dr Fun' was incredibly knowledgable, hospitable and entertaining. Throughout the journey to the blue mountains Delton gave us a wealth of information about Jamiaca and the parishes we went through. The scenery on the journey was beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. You get to stop off and take pictures on the day. Once you are there, you met the lovely David, you get the opportunity to see how the coffee is made, and have a coffee and some food (all included in the price). There is the opportunity to buy too but there is no pressure. We got to see a farm, with loads of fruits and some pigs. On the way back we stopped off for some coconut water courtesy of Delton. It was the most memorable trip of our journey. It was that good we booked with Delton again to go river rafting, through ocho rios town and seen fern gully. I couldn't thank Delton more for the experience!!

Dr Fun Tours took us on this fascinating trip. Delton Rhoden was so informative, pointing out the various plants and vegetation. The scenery is absolutely amazing. We had a running commentary of all the points of interest along the journey. Delton proudly told us about the history of Jamaica. We highly recommend this trip and definitely recommend DR FUN TOURS!!

What a beautiful experience to travel to Blue Mountains to see how local coffee is brewed. I recently took this tour with a friend of mine. We were picked up promptly by our driver, the car was clean and we were provided with water for the journey. It took around two hours to reach Blue Mountains (be prepared the road is quite bumpy) but when we arrived we were greeted by the roasters who showed us how coffee is made. I really enjoyed that this was a family run business spanning back to the great grandfather whose children kept coffee roasting alive. We got to taste the coffee which was great, particularly as my friend who is not a coffee lover really enjoyed tasting it. We were also presented a beautiful vegetarian dish upon our request, which tasted amazing. You can tell so much love went into it. We were then given a tour of the local area and shown all the amazing trees and fruits which grow locally. We even got to take some limes home and eat some sugar cane. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, the only downfall was that it was not actually a private tour as another couple joined us. It did feel slightly dissapointing however we are a very social pair who are happy to chat to people and did not mind too much but would have preferred to have known sooner.
All in all I really recommend the tour, it was fun, informative, full of wonderful, interesting people and the food was fantastic. Thank you so much for creating a wonderful, memorable day.

The most beautiful sight in Jamaica the Blue Mountains for sure and no other way to experience it locally but with Dr.Fun Tours.

The tour is fantastic! Our guide Harry was very knowledgeable and stopped along the way so we could take pictures. The drive up the mountain was unbelievable and the views gorgeous. When we got up to 4000 ft above sea level to the coffee farm, we had a delicious lunch and bought some fresh roasted as well as green coffee beans ( we roast ourselves so it was a strange request but they were more than happy to oblige!) I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a real experience in the Blue Mountains.

I only had one free day and was able to get out and see a great view of the Blue Mountains on a short notice. Very friendly guide. I appreciate them accommodating a slight detour so I could visit some hiking trails.

Get off the beach and see yet real Jamaica. You owe it to yourself. This was a great tour and Uncle Harry did a great job of explaining and driving. The road was narrow and winding it we always felt safe

We were picked up on time from our Ochos Rios hotel. The drive took us along the northern coast of Jamaica. We drove by coconut, banana, and pineapple farms. We also drove past a bauxite mine. Our driver Harry told us a lot about local life in Jamaica and the people. Once you turn off the road to go up the mountain, be prepared to go on a long car ride on a narrow winding road. It is not for the faint of heart or for those who might get car sickness. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the owner who took us on a walk of the farm. They farmed coffee plus had plantains, bananas, and pigs. We were also fortunate to met his grandmother who was the third generation who worked on the farm. They treated us to a tasty lunch of local cuisine. We ended the tour by returning the way we came. If you are looking for a tour that gives you insight into the local people, this is the tour for you.

This tour was the highlight of our trip. It is a new business owner/operator Delton Rhoden is a wonderful tour guide we learned a lot about Jamaica and it's people from him. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. This tour takes you through some of the most awesome scenery jungle forest, waterfalls, mountain farms. Then we stopped at a farm at 4000 feet elevation and got a tour from a young man who farms the land. We had lunch at a coffee/cafe/bar. We saw Blue Mountain coffee growing and had the chance to watch it be roasted and ground by hand and were able to buy some at a great price. The ride back down was just as stunning and fun. We all enjoyed this tour the most out of all the things we did while in Jamaica. Most of the credit for this goes to the tour operator Delton who was such a pleasure to be with. If you want to see another side of Jamaica this tour is a must you will not be disappointed.

Leider war es keine private Tour, sondern eine Gruppe. Die Tour wurde nicht von Dr. Fun, sondern einem Drittanbieter durchgeführt. Der Bus war geeignet für die, allerdings waren die Polster der Sitze schon aufgerissen und die Klimaanlage nicht einstellbar. Die Tour selbst ging 3h tlw. (die Straßen sind nicht die besten) zu einer Kaffeefarm. Es empfiehlt sich, Desinfektionsmittel dabeizuhaben, wenn man Wert auf Hygiene legt. Den servierten Fisch, der mit uns ungekühlt 3h im Auto gefahren ist, haben wir besser nicht probiert. Zum Schluss gab es noch einen schönen Ausblick auf unser Schiff und den James Bond Strand. Ich kann die 150€ pro Person absolut nicht nachvollziehen und rate jedem von diesem Ausflug ab!

Sie haben über ein Drittunternehmen gebucht, Dr.Fun Tours führt die Tour jedoch durch.
Dies ist keine private Tour, aber insgesamt nehmen nur 5 Personen an dieser Tour teil. Der Van bietet Platz für bis zu 15 Personen, an diesem Tag war es nicht überfüllt.
Die Tour führt Sie hinauf in die Blue Mountains, zum James Dennis Coffee Shop mit komfortablen Toiletten, Kaffeeverkostung und einer kleinen Farmtour, wie in der Tourbeschreibung erwähnt.
Alle anderen in der Tourbeschreibung erwähnten Orte sind mit dem Auto erreichbar. Ihr Fahrer Tevary hat Ihnen einen kostenlosen Halt gegeben, um einen Teil des James Bond Beach und des Golden Eye Resorts zu besichtigen.
Das ist nicht im Preis inbegriffen, er hat es als Extrastopp gemacht, wir fahren regelmäßig die Blue Mountains Tour und das Fahrzeug muss für die Bergstraße geeignet sein, ein normales Auto kann nicht jede Woche Berge bewältigen. Der Reisebus ist wie ein Jeep für Bergstraßen, leider wird er kein Luxusfahrzeug sein und eine reibungslose Fahrt auf Bergstraßen ermöglichen.
Wir entschuldigen uns aufrichtig für die Missverständnisse. Ich glaube, dass die Sprachbarriere bei dieser Tour eine Rolle gespielt hat, allerdings sind alle Fahrzeuge voll klimatisiert.
Die Dauer der Tour wurde in der Tourbeschreibung inklusive der Preise angegeben, die Tour wurde jedoch effektiv durchgeführt.
