IF YOU BOOK HERE BE WARNED! They will allow you to book after 24 hours though they “don’t” refund during that time frame. I made an emergency purchase for transportation to Montego Bay from one of their listed hotels in Ochi and made a note that mine was actually next door. I ended up finding a personal driver that could take me exactly where I needed so I contacted the merchant to let him know. They merchant agreed to a refund amount after telling me they were actually going to charge me more for the trip after I explained I found something better and I needed to cancel. He then later told Viator a whole different story and refunded less than what was agreed upon and the only thing the chat agents did was tell me to call back after hours to talk to the merchant directly even though I was already using their system to do so. I had to mention that’s where he discussed the refunded amount that he literally lied to the agent about after saying it was a “courtesy” to refund me. Just make sure only to reserve then call so you can cancel and get a STRAIGHT answer and tell them to email it too.

Dear Tatian, Please be reminded that we are a merchant on the viator's site. Based on the viator's policy, you are not eligible for a refund with the 24-hour window, and hence, there is no option to refund you. We communicate after the cancelation and advised that this is outside of business policy, and as a courtesy, we will find a way to refund you 70% of the amount paid and asked for your patience while we work on the refund options. This conversation was a little over 24 hours. A refund was made of 65% by error on our end with the intention to work with viator the to provide the additional 5% . On the day of the refund, we spoke with an agent from viator to contact us at 6:00 pm to finalise the refund based on the fact that they called in the middle of the excursion with other customers at no point we have lied or mislead you to think we will not stand to our words.
