Oaxaca by night was one of the highlights of our trip! Luis was so kind and so knowledgeable about not only the food but also the city! We learned that he designed the tour on his own and he knows exactly where the most authentic and family owned places are making it a very special tour. The beauty of this wonderful city shows through. The food was DELICIOUS and we even got to make our own hot chocolate! If you see this tour BOOK IT!

This was my favorite food tour in Mexico. We covered a lot of ground and learned a lot. I especially liked the chocolate and mezcal tastings. Veronica made it a great experience!

We had a wonderful evening with Pedro and our other group members. We ate some great food that we probably would not have tried if it hadn't been for this tour. Might not have even came across the restaurants that we enjoyed so much. We also enjoyed the mezcal tasting and learned so much about the distillation process. A very enjoyable evening with a great guide!

Luis was a terrific guide. Did a great job engaging the group. Food choices were excellent. The tour said approximately 5 hrs. At the end of the 5th hour, we hadn’t left the Mezcal tasting and still had to go to dinner.
Need better time management.

A great experience with Luis who took us to a variety of local street food plus a mezcal bar.
Luis was super knowledgable and great fun. This tour is ideal for people wanting to taste authentic Oaxacan street food, particularly if only in the area for a few days!

Veronica’s personally-designed tasting tour was perfectly curated to include lesser-known culinary delights that we hadn’t yet discovered during our week in Oaxaca. We all really enjoyed her selections! The pacing and duration of the tour, including passing through colorful neighborhoods flowed nicely. Veronica’s tour is a gem!

This was a fantastic experience. Luiz was an absolute legend and the tour was exemplary. Starting outside a local market, Luiz took us around much of Oaxaca, seeing many local cultural sites along the trip, sharing lots of info. The food side was absolutely world class. Luiz nailed it- taking us places we would never have found and letting us experience a wonderful array of Oaxaca & Mexican classics. Doing day to night allows you to see the changeover of the food stands & different cuisines & the city come to life. Inclusive of a brilliant mezcal tasting, chocolate making & local interactions. Absolutely recommend. 10/10.

Luis provided a wonderful tour of the gastronomy of Oaxaca. He introduced us to vendors, flavors and experiences we would have missed if it wasn’t for him. We were extra delighted to participate in a chocolate and mezcal tasting. He was friendly, knowledgeable and considerate of our dietary needs.
Must do experience if visiting Oaxaca and love food!
Pro tip - skip the meal before your tour!
