Hierve el Agua is a stunning natural phenomenon located in the mountains outside Oaxaca’s Central Valleys. Discover the art of black mud in San Bartolo Coyotepec, an Oaxacan town renowned for one of the most emblematic craft traditions of the state. In this experience you will visit a local workshop, where you will know the process of making black mud from artisans who have preserved this technique for generations. You will learn about the modeling, decoration and details that make each piece special, while participating in a close, cultural and authentic activity. The service lasts approximately 4 hours and includes transfer from Oaxaca de Juárez, so you only worry about enjoying the experience.
