Jaafar was an excellent and knowledgeable guide! We went to the Grand Mosque and observed the wonderful architecture of the buildings. In addition, we went to the fish market and fruit/vegetable market and by the Al Alam Palace for pictures. We adjusted the stops and he was very understanding and accommodating. His love for the city and country are clear. He was very warm and caring and helped us have an excellent t tour!

We had Omar as our tour guide for a day and a half . You can’t see Muscat without a guide as all the sites are so spread out .
Our highlights were a day trip to Nizwa the old capital and an amazing fort and great Omani restaurants.
The city tour of Muscat included the largest and most beautiful and amazing Grand Mosque we have ever seen. The most beautiful Opera House. The Sultan'sPalace one of 4. We also went to a museum. Unfortunately the National Museum was closed. The embassy area along with a look at the lobby of the new Ritz Carlton al Bustan Palace
For a local feel Omar took us to the seafood and vegetable market and the souq.
A big thank you Omar who knows his history of this country and his culture.
I can’t describe to you the topography you have to see it to believe it.

Jaafar was an amazing guide! Not only was he knowledgeable about all our questions, he made fantastic jokes and was very personable.
The tour was fantastic and Jaafar provided us with water, recommendations and gave us time to wander on our own if we needed it.

Me and my husband did this classic sight seeing in Muscat with Jaafar. We enjoyed it a lot and Jaafar was very kind and answered all our questions. We felt to get a little more insight in Oman and its society that day and reccomand the tour to every tourist visiting Muscat

Our guide, Ahmed, was punctual, pleasant and professional. The vehicle was comfortable for our group of 4 adults. Ahmed told us about the sights and gave us ample time at each stop to explore and take photos.
The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque was beautiful and worth the visit. We went to the Bait Al Zubair, a local cultural museum highlighting Omani life and history. Even though we toured the Mutrah Fish Market later in the morning, we were amazed at the variety of fish at each stall. The fruit and vegetable market in the opposite building was nice to wander through. Overall a nice tour.

Jaffar picked us up at the cruise terminal gate in a large, comfortable, air-conditioned, SUV - right on time. In fact, he was there when we arrived, 15 minutes early. He was friendly, personable, spoke English well, and had a passion for the area, so was an ideal tour guide. He took us to the Grand Mosque first. From there we went to the fish souk and the main souk. Plenty of time to look around. Then Jaafar took us to Old Muscat, where we toured a small museum and stopped for photos at the royal palace. There were some great views on the water as well. He also offered to take us to another museum (not scheduled on the tour). At the end of the tour, Jaafar agreeably dropped us off at the Muscat airport, where we parted ways. The tour was about 4 hrs, which was just right. We highly recommend this tour and Jaafar specifically.

It was great to have our own private city tour of the capital city. Tour guide was amazing took pictures like a pro explained everything and the best part that he was also our tour guide for a long day trip to the forts and to the Grand Canyon.

The tour operator communicated very well so we could be picked up right at the port. Jaafar was a wonderful guide for our short tour of Muscat. The vehicle was great and he spoke great English and gave us information as we went from site to site, telling us about facts and at each stop.
Enjoyed this tour would recommend if you only have 3-4 hours.

Our tour guide, Said was knowledgeable and proud to share the history and beauty of his beautiful Muscat. We were very happy we chose a private tour as it gave us comfort and the flexibility to stay longer at the sites we wanted. The Qaboos Grand Mosque is extraordinary and it's architecture and symbolism fascinating. Said encouraged us to explore Mutrah Souq at our own pace. It was nice to not feel hurried! We visited the Palace, the Marina, as well as other landmarks for photo and exploring opportunities. Thank you, Said for sharing your amazing Muscat! We hope to visit again. My tour of Oman was one of the highlights of my recent cruise. The reason why is Afaf Al-Abdullatif. She is one of the brightest smartest tour guides I have ever had an any tour overtaken around the world. She has a masters degree speak multiple languages in her English is perfect. She has a passion for country and she shows it he becomes infectious. My wife and I were absolutely overwhelmed by the quality of knowledge and dedication and going the extra distance that she did for us. She showed us the basic tour items but went the extra distance showing us more. I plan on coming back to Oman just because of her. Anybody to have her as your guide has just won the lottery.

Oman is a beautiful country. Throughout the tour, I noticed the unique beauty of this country and learned so much. The tour guide, Abdullah, is very knowledgeable. He is like a walking encyclopedia. He told me about things that you probably won't find in a book or online. The tour is well worth the money! I'm glad I chose it :)
