Turtles, Great Guides & an Amazing Day at Daymaniyat Islands

We had an incredible snorkeling trip to the Daymaniyat Islands! Our main guide, Romeo, was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable, attentive. He and the team made us feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. We really lucked out because our group was only five people, while we saw several other tours that were completely packed. Romeo and his colleagues stayed with us in the water, which we really appreciated as three of us didn’t know how to swim. They provided life jackets and made sure we felt safe the entire time. When the current was particularly strong in one area, they knew exactly where to take us on the island where the conditions were much better. They even had a GoPro available for us to use, which was such a nice touch! We saw SO many turtles and had an amazing time. We were hoping to see sharks as well, but the water was quite cloudy that day, so visibility wasn’t on our side. Lunch was also provided and was delicious. It included wraps along with fresh fruit, water, and juices, which was perfect after spending so much time in the water. Overall, this was such an incredible experience and one of the highlights of our time in Oman. I would absolutely recommend this tour, especially Romeo and his team!

Very crowded on the boat....

Very crowded on the boat. We parked far from the snorkeling area so people were slow to get out of the boat. The last part at the island with a beach was nice. The boat each way is about 1.25 hours so 2.5 hours transit on the boat
