I absolutely loved the trip. Wadi Shab was just beyond beautiful. Not a tricky hike but it is a good hour to get to the pools. It’s very slippery so make sure you’re wearing proper shoes (unlike me who decided it was a good day to wear flip flops). Great communication the day before trip - sending a WhatsApp message confirming the time for pick up and things you should pack. Lunch not great but seemed to be a popular spot with other tour groups. A huge thank you to Mazin - he was so kind and helpful throughout the tour. Definitely one to book if you’re in Muscat!

Everything was fine - plenty of water on the bus to make sure everyone stayed hydrated. The hiking speed was fully aligned to accommodate slow walkers. The challenge is the heat, not the terrain. I wouldn't recommend the trip for people who can't swim - the cave does require some swimming. Great option for solo travellers who don't drive.

I had an absolutely great day, thanks to good communication and sufficient information given prior to the trip. Everything was so well organised, and I was able to full enjoy the natural pools of Wadi Shab. We were only able to have packaged snacks before visiting the sinkhole because restaurants weren't open in the day due to Ramadan, otherwise, I'd say it's pretty much a perfect day. Mohammed was the perfect guide for this trip as he guided us through multiple pools to reach the cave, where we secured some great videos diving from the rock. He knows the place inside out so can make the experience extra adventurous. It's a good workout as well with the scenic hike and swimming.

It’s a really good tour with an excellent guide. It’s worth booking the private option if you can. You go at your own pace. The hike is exhilarating and the swim is something else.

The tour guide was very nice and he lead attendees properly and gently.
He cared all attendees and kept entertaining people until the end even though we were tired.
I usually don't join group tours. However I felt I would challenge again if tour guides are like him.
He carefully talked with people to minimize the anticipation including me,
The experience in Wadi Shab was fantastic and was much more than my expectation. Beautiful and exciting.
I just though one to be improved below.
Prenotification was just one day before and I purchased swimming shows, water shield bug already. I won't buy those if I knew those could be purchased or lent.
I heard a Vietnamese lade didn't swim because she said there were too many people swimming.
I guess a lot of Vietnamese can't swim and had no confidence to swim among those a lot of people.
Actually the experience was much challenging that I thought.
I could enjoy it but it might not be easy for people who don't swim so well. This is just my point of views because I believe she could claim it.

Great day tour from Muscat. The scenery was gorgeous and the hike through the canyon and then the swim in the wadi provided a good amount of exercise, which is what we were after. The tour was well organised and the communication was seemless. We were very happy overall.

Very timely pick up, clean bus, and a great tour guide, Muhannad. The wadi was beautiful. The hike itself was easy, a couple narrow and slippery spots but that was fine. Once you get to the swimming portion, it can be challenging at times because of very slippery and sharp rocks, and some areas are pretty deep. I think water shoes are a MUST. There are some for sale or rent right outside the entrance. If you are not a 100% confident with your swimming, rent a life jacket. Because even as an avid swimmer I got tired in some sections without a life jacket. Gorgeous views and great adventure. The Bimmah sinkhole after was okay but it was hard to compare it to the beauty of the wadi. Highly recommend this tour

Well-organized, timely pick-up, very proactive and detailed communication beforehand. The tour guide was kind, knew the tour well and made sure we were all fine and informed at all times. The early arrival at the Wadi allows for a less crowded experience even in the high season. The included lunch is a teal convenience. If, like me, you’re on the more clumsy side, make sure your shoes have a strong grin, or even consider bringing a hiking pole. Some passages are rocky and slippery.

Well where do I start! If you do not book this then you can only kick yourself! From start to finish this trip was the best I’ve been on. We had an amazing tour guide Abdullah who was super fun and created great rapport. The views were absolutely breath taking and you are given fantastic instructions before hand. They also served food in between the two events which was of real good quality! Can’t say I’ve spent money on anything better. Don’t even think twice and just book. You can thank me later.

Just wow!! So glad I did this trip to finally see the beauty of Oman. Do yourself a favour and book this as it was so seamless. From.pickup at hotel to Wadi Shab and then an amazing lunch and then to Bimmah sink-hole! Wadi Shab is an easy hike and left by an amazing guide called Rasheed who always had water ready and answered all our questions as well as provided such interesting, fun info along the way. A stand-up guide. So so glad I did this trip!

Beautiful place. Better grab a safe jacket if not strong swimmer. Also couple of water bottles. Swimming shoes is a must, stones are slippery. The whole experience is worth it. You will be swimming from through natural pools with very clear turquoise waters.

I have taken a lot of day tours in different location, and this is definitely one of the best!
Our guide Mahmood is awesome! He is very engaging, kept the day fun, and going beyond what is expected!
This could be a physically demanding journey in the heat, but every bit of it is well worth it. Swimming in the wadi is an unique experience. I would recommend everyone to rent a life jacket to save some energy as you would be swimming against the current. ( I survived without that but also regret not renting one, especially when I was inside the cave).

It was great! Aburahman was great and patient! The wadi was gorgeous, a little slippery at some spots and some rubbish here and there but beautiful as a whole! Easy hike but very hot during the summer but you can dip in the water as you make your way up!

Abdullah was the perfect guide and was even happy when I requested a 6 AM pickup. (-: We beat the heat, had a delicious Omani bread breakfast on the way and had an exceptional trip. He is a wonderful teacher and thoughtful guide, always pointing out things I would be interested in, like animals. The pools were spectacular, both the one at the ½ way hike point and the final ones leading to the cave. “Reef shoes” are essential and he kindly made a stop on the way to pick them up along with a waterproof mobile phone case. (I ended up using the reef shoes for the rocky hike, as they were much lighter/cooler than my hiking boots.). Also rented a life jacket and enjoyed floating…this is the new mental “happy place” I’ll go to when life back home becomes too much. Thank you Abdullah for a fun and truly memorable day.

Fun experience! We really enjoyed it! If you have sensitive skin, then make sure that you take sunscreen with you to the final pool, so that after swimming, when you walk out of the Wadi, you don't get sun burnt.

Our family trip to Wadi Shaab was truly amazing, especially with our young child in tow. Our tour guide, Maher, was incredibly patient and accommodating, making sure we could comfortably navigate the hike at our own pace.
Beyond just Wadi Shaab, Maher also took us to a stunning white sand beach in Sur. This was an unexpected and delightful addition to our itinerary.
We are so grateful for this wonderful experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oman. Especially with our tour guide @maher_world

Guide was excellent and very patient with us all. The walk to the Wadi is a little challenging but not too difficult. Wear proper walking shoes is my advice! If you are not a strong swimmer the life preserver is a good idea. It’s stunning. I didn’t do the cave (I dislike enclosed spaces), I just did the first two pools. Swimming shoes definitely a good idea In the rock pools.

The sinkhole is down steps and is spectacular. I didn’t swim, but the depth and clearness of the water was obvious.

We left an hour late because we were waiting for latecomers so we ended up getting back late. But the overall experience was very nice and the views were stunning. Lunch was a delicious bonus!

The whole trip was amazing and the tour guide really helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend to anyone whether ur travelling alone or with friends and family. Would recommend that you do rent a life jacket especially if you’re not a confident swimmer
