The guide arrived in time and explained the itinerary. However I think his personal knowledge of the tour was limited as on several occasions he just played a recorded commentary of the “attraction” by an American on his phone. His driving was good. He wasn’t able to answer questions as his command of English was subpar. We did see most of the sights that were planned.

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Our guide was very knowledgable about the history of Oman and all the locations on the tour. He was very friendly and tailored the information based on our backgrounds and knowledge. He was also very funny and made us laugh on several occasions! The tour itself was very detailed, visiting a lot of the major points of interest in and around Muscat. Our favourites were the grand mosque, and the forts around Murray, but a special shoutout to Al Diwaniya for Omani Sweets where we stopped for halwa and coffee - our favourite was the honey and saffron flavour! At the end of the tour we were given the option of either being taken back to the hotel or to another location if we had other plans, a very thoughtful gesture to finish an absolutely brilliant afternoon of exploring. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oman who is overwhelmed by all the sites and landmarks.

The tour covered all key attractions in Muscat from late afternoon 3:30pm to 7:30pm. My Omani guide Nasser is friendly, and informative and made a good plan to cover all places. He shared key info about the attractions, answered my questions with patience, and gave me enough time to take photos. Good tour for Muscat if you have limited time like me.

Muscat in the evening is beautiful, the sights not crowded. Sunset at the mosque also nice, you can't get in around the time. Our guide Abdellah was a bit shy at first, but very well prepared. The longer we went, the more he thawed. We can recommend the tour. For the market quietly arrange an hour or more.
