This was a very enjoyable half day seeing a number of the main sites in Muscat. The Sultan Qaboos mosque and the Royal Opera House are both stunning (the mosque is, imo, better than the one in Abu Dhabi - more intimate and with excellent explanation of the key tenets of Islam from the volunteers there). Old Muscat was also veri interesting. Mahmoud, our guide, was excellent and tailored the tour to our wishes. He seemed to know everyone we met!

The guide was very kind in taking us in different sites and offering us the local food and beverages. We expected more explanation of Omani culture and history, and of the places we visited. Other guides did so, as we could hear durino our trip

Although the tour was scheduled for 4 hours, it extended to more than 5 hours, as the guide was happy to provide additional time and include extra sites beyond those originally listed in the itinerary, with the intention of offering a more comprehensive and enriching experience.
Throughout the tour, the guide consistently checked after each location to see if there were any questions, and at the time there were none. We also noticed that your friend was capturing photos and videos during the explanations, which we took as a sign of engagement and enjoyment of the experience.
A trainee accompanied the tour as part of our development program; however, all explanations and interactions were handled by the lead guide to ensure quality and consistency.
We truly value your feedback, as it helps us continue improving, and we always strive to provide an experience that exceeds expectations. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.

Really enjoyable morning with our guide, Saif. We had picked to do this tour on Friday morning so we’re a little limited as some places were closed but that really didn’t take away from an informative and enjoyable tour of Muscat. The pace was great and we saw all the main sites and had a couple of Omani food stops along the way!

The company got in touch earlier to confirm the tour and number of participants. After communicating that we have 06 adults and want to go together.. they sent a jeep where we had to squeeze into the third row behind. It would be okay for children but incredibly uncomfortable and claustrophobic for adults especially after I had specifically asked for a van. The driver fairly said he couldn’t do anything about it, to complain to the company. He was nice but wasn’t the most engaging guide and did a very basic job to explain. The tour itself included everything we wanted to see.. but in my opinion was not worth the price or the hassle. We opted to end early.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that the tour was carried out according to the official description, and a van was not included as part of this tour. Before the tour, we offered alternative arrangements for more comfort, but the request was for all six adults to remain together in one vehicle.
The tour lasted 5 hours and 40 minutes, and the full itinerary was completed with all planned locations visited.
Regarding the level of interaction, our guide Anas mentioned that engagement felt limited as the group was mostly occupied in conversation among themselves, though he ensured that the essential information and program were delivered.

Very enjoyable. Mohamed was fantastic, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. He was happy to share his personal experiences of Oman and happy to be flexible to our interests. He did not rush us when we wanted to stay longer at certain sites and was happy to change the itinerary to cater to our interests. Mohamed was very generous with his time and really made the day a highlight of our trip to Oman. This was the perfect intro to Oman and Zaher was an exceptional guide. He demonstrated famed Omani hospitality even before the tour began, with helpful welcome messages and precise instructions for the airport pickup. I had a limited amount of time and he packed in a wealth of knowledge and insights. (Ask him about Omani bread and you will not be disappointed!) He is a gifted teacher and the materials he brought increased both learning and enjoyment. I will 100% seek him out when I return to Oman—having been everywhere in the region (except Yemen) it is now my Gulf favorite.

Excellent tour of Muscat - got to see the main attractions across Muscat in a reasonable amount of time. There was enough time at every location and the food was delicious.
