Perfect morning spent seeing the beautiful reefs of Moorea. Our guide Flo was highly knowledgeable and spoke great English and was wonderful with our daughter. Very easy to communicate with the tour operator, who gave us a ride to the boat. We have done snorkel trips in Hawaii and Caribbean and this was the best. The reefs are so vibrant and healthy. And you are nearly guaranteed to see rays and sharks too. Wonderful morning spent on a wonderful boat with wonderful people. Thank you!

This was our second time aboard Taboo, and it did not disappoint, even in the rain! Captain Leo and Flo did an amazing job and are full of local facts and knowledge. An amazing experience that shouldn’t be missed during your stay on Moorea!

This trip was on a catermaran which due to the wind in the morning was threatened not to go ahead as they are apparently affected more by the wind but fortunately did. There were a number of snorkelling stops which the guides negotiated to avoid crowded areas and give us the best possible experience. The guides were passionate about the environment and very knowledgeable. Overall we had a fantastic day and even though it was only half a day managed to fit in a lot. The colours of the ocean were fabulous and crystal clear, we had a really enjoyable day.

We had Max as our captain and Mai as our guide for our half day catamaran tour. They were both amazing! At the beginning, they asked us what we’d like to see and did their best to show us every single thing on our list. Mai took us to the coolest coral reef and pointed out nurse sharks, fish, rays, turtles and so much more. He constantly checked to see if we were okay and needed to slow down or turn around if cold. It was amazing! They gave us fresh fruits, juices, Mai tai’s, and even coordinated taxi to and from the boat to our hotel. They shared information about the local culture and the island. Cannot recommend this experience enough!!

Our tour guides, Flo and Max, were the best! Fun to talk to and made the experience so much fun! Swimming with sharks and sting rays was magical. It was a beautiful calm day and the water was super clear and refreshing. Highly recommended!!

Leo is an excellent Captain! We went solo for the afternoon with him and no one else and it was tots with it to not fuss with other people and just take our time! We saw every sort of fish, turtles, stingrays and black tip sharks. He explained the history of Moorea and Polynesian culture and religion. Timing was perfect and fresh fruit snacks and juice were excellent. We were surprised with a bottle of pineapple champagne to end the afternoon.

We had an amazing day with Louis and Max! They showed us gorgeous snorkeling spots with tons of fish and coral, and we got to swim with stingrays. Louis is very knowledgeable about the history of Moorea and taught us so much! Such a fun day overall :)

We had the best time on Taboo! The guide was phenomenal and spent so much time with our 4 year old daughter teaching her about the fish and helping her snorkel. She really made the day special for our family and especially our daughter. Definitely recommend it!

Very disappointing excursion. Extremely overpriced, guide was obnoxious, billed as sailing but captain only motored the boat. No fun being lectured to while treading water. Hard pass. FWIW Operator asked me to cancel and rebook directly.

Wonderful day on Taboo. When the cruise ship was delayed we thought to cancel but so glad we didn't. Taboo was amazing, snorkeling in 2 locations was just perfect. The crew were fun and professional. I would have appreciated a discount for missing an hour through no fault of our own, but never heard back on this. Overall, I would Highly recommend this tour and would do it again! Truly amazing day!

This was our second time doing this trip and we absolutely loved it. Leo is the best guide. The only thing that is absolutely crazy is we found out if we book directly with the company itself, it’s $200 cheaper. A 35% markup for Viator is insane. I will support the small business itself next time.

I booked this experience after doing a quick Google search on Moorea snorkel tours and it will forever be something my husband and I smile about. We had the best time, Leo was our captain and was wonderful. The experience itself is indescribable - it’s like you’re living in the movie Finding Nemo. Liza does a great job communicating and coordinating your reservation and taxi to and from the ferry, if needed. The price of this experience is 100% worth it - just book it!

Unforgettable experience on the Taboo. I really liked that this was a personal experience on a small boat. Perfect for our family. The hosts were fantastic. Highly recommended! The sharks and rays were a highlight.

The four of us very much enjoyed the snorkeling off the catamaran. We were disappointed that there was no sailing. Also, it would've been nice to have had refreshments on arrival, such as beer or a cocktail as well as cold water. We found it a bit expensive for value. There was just juice and a small cocktail at the end. Staff were really nice and knowledgeable. All in all it was an enjoyable day and I would recommend it. But be aware that there is no sailing but awesome snorkeling with a great crew.

This excursion was absolutely worth the money!! We took a 4hr private ride - our captain was very knowledgeable, spoke multiple languages (including English) and took us to multiple locations around Moorea! We went North around the island and snorkeled at a coral garden, with stingrays and sharks, and at the tikis. They provided rum punch, bottled water, and fresh fruit. Even my husband said this was his favorite, most relaxing excursion and has never snorkeled! Highly recommend! The transportation was easy and right on time with easy directions provided in the welcome email!

Our captain, Teeboe (I apologize for the misspelling), and guide, Ana were friendly, knowledgeable and so much fun. We snorkeled, swam with the sharks and rays and visited an underwater Tahitian museum. We also enjoyed some delicious fruit, juice and mai-tais. It was the most memorable day!

I'm going to butcher the captain's name (sorry), but captain Tiboux and snorkeling guide Hannah were excellent! The boat and experience were both incredible. We snorkeled with black tip reef sharks, stingrays, camouflaged flounders, and a wide array of tropical fish in the coral garden. Guide Hannah was incredibly knowledgeable on the various species, and her instruction really enhanced the experience. The captain claimed his English wasn't very good, but he was actually really funny and both of them were very proficient English speakers...much better than my French, for sure. Overall, this is a can't miss excursion.

We had an amazing time on the Taboo! The crew was great, super knowledgeable and interesting. Leo was an amazing sailor, the snorkeling was terrific and the fruit snacks and drinks were an added bonus. Oh, and did I mention the amazing views from the boat? Just WOW. I highly recommend this tour!!

Absolutely awesome experience and crew. Kevin and his partner were kind, informative, fun and inspiring. Boat is perfect for the unique experience. Swimming with sharks, stingrays and tons of beautiful fish was absolutely incredible. They even took videos of us with our go pro. We had a tight schedule and their pick up/ drop off system is a well oiled machine. Highly highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience with this private tour. We fed the fish bananas, we saw sea turtles, and it was just a perfect experience.
