The Taboo is the perfect catamaran for small group snorkeling and sightseeing! Flo and Meri were so friendly, helpful, and informative. We saw sea turtles and swam with blacktip sharks, stingrays, and a plethora of colorful fish! The scenery was beautiful. The pick up and drop off were on time, and communication prior to the tour was exceptional. We had the best day!

Excellent tour. The guys were friendly and the boat was clean. The food was a bit poor just some fruit and the cocktails were not great. The views are spectacular. On the last stop where there are statues in the sea it would have been easier if the guides had given us a talk about them before we got in the water. Some people struggled to tread water for that long and it was hard for everyone to hear.

Perfect mix of snorkel and sailing! Good fruit snacks and great snorkel locations. View was very friendly and had all the equipment you needed for a nice experiment.

We had a great experience with Taboo and crew even though the weather was so wet and windy. Both of us oldies got into the water on three occasions and saw the sharks the rays and lots of fish.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and came across this experience, and we're so glad we did! It was an early start but worth it as our guide wanted us to hit our first stop before other tours arrived. We snorkled with stingrays and sharks and it was awesome! we also swam with fishes and learned about the undersea statues. Ended with a cocktail. Our guides were informative and friendly and the day was beautiful! This was also great for kids! Highly recommend this experience!!

Most amazing snorkeling! Bring a change of clothes in case it is a wet day but we had great weather even though rain was forecast. Our guide Louis and our captain were amazing! Couldn't ask for a better day. Always amazed at the amazing hospitality of the people in French polynesia! Not only is the scenery One of a Kind so is the service!

The snorkelling was good. The weather kind of came up rough towards the end of the tour, but overall it was a great way to spend the morning. We saw black tip sharks and some stingrays along with some cool little tropical fish and got to feed them bananas. Guides were great!

Amazing. It was easy to find the pick-up spot, we loved how small the group was (7 total), and the guide was super informative. The boat had shelter, for those who didn't want to be in the sun, but we all enjoyed being at the front of the boat. We visited the rays and black tip shark area, a beautiful coral garden, and saw the fascinating sunken tikis. The whole tour was super safety conscious as well, for us and for the marine life. I was all around so very impressed and happy with this tour

Max and Louis did great job getting us to the best spots for snorkeling. Yes, we did swim with sharks and rays! Super informative about local history and culture. Only 8 on board so we all get time in the “net” during the tour. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome time on the catamaran taboo! We started off our day seeing a massive pod of dolphins! They took us to a few snorkel spots and saw sting rays, black tip sharks, tons of cool fish and even some tiki statues! They also served us fresh fruit, fruit juice, and mai tais! Overall I’d highly recommend taking this tour!

We were taken out in extremely strong winds.
With the conditions as they were we really think this trip should have been cancelled.
The sea was so choppy it made the visibility extremely poor. The whole experience was unpleasant due to the cold winds.
The trip was also cut short to 3 hours with no explanation. Yes it was cold and windy and totally uncomfortable but some compensation should have been offered considering this.

If you're looking for an unforgettable experience on Moorea, book this tour! It was definitely one of the major highlights of our trip. From start to finish, the entire experience was flawless. The catamaran provided such a comfortable and enjoyable ride, and the sights were breathtaking.
Our guides, Matt and Louie, were exceptional—they are so knowledgeable about the marine life and the island's history, and their fun energy made the day spectacular. The absolute peak of the tour was the opportunity to swim right alongside black tip sharks and rays. It was truly a surreal and incredible moment we will never forget. We could not have asked for a better crew or a more perfect day. High recommendation to everyone visiting Moorea.

We had the best morning on the Taboo today as we went to three snorkelling spots. The boat was beautiful and spacious, allowing us and the other three couples to easily lounge and take in the sights as we sailed. Our captain and guide were hilarious and told us many facts about the island as we sailed, while also pointing out interesting things for us to see as they came. I am normally not super comfortable being on the ocean, but I felt safe the entire time and didn’t have any concerns. The captain gave us fresh fruit, juice, and mai tais between snorkel spots which was the perfect addition to our sunny day on the water!
Would recommend to anyone that they sail on the Taboo!

If you have never swam with stingrays or sharks before this is the experience for you! I was really nervous but Mai was so so kind and guided me through the water so I could see these amazing sea creatures! Something I will never forget. Our captain Max was amazing, nice, and prepared the most delicious fruit platter and Mai Tai’s!! I would most certainly do this tour again!!

Mai & the Captain waited for us due to being delayed getting off of the cruise ship. We were so thankful for this! Mai provided excellent service as our guide for the day. All 6 of us on this tour were of retirement age! Highly recommend that you book with these guys!

We stopped at three snorkel sites. They offered a diverse view of underwater. The problem was lack of good communication both before the trip and during the trip. At the each site we were told to just get in the water with no idea of how long we had to swim around. At the underwater tiki site the guide pointed to approximately where the tikis were and said we could find six. He never left the boat and communication was lacking.

Wonderful tour aboard the Taboo catamaran. Captain Leo was exceptional. The Taboo is not particularly fast under power, which made the tour all the more enjoyable for the relaxed pace. Captain Leo gets you on the water early before the crowds and limits the tour to just 6 people. Ask him about the history of the boat-fascinating! This was a great tour of the lagoon.

We went on the Taboo Catamaran in Moorea with Captain Leo. The small group size (only six guests) made the trip feel relaxed and personal. The boat was comfortable, and the snorkeling spots were beautiful with plenty of fish and rays. Captain Leo was knowledgeable about the area and a wonderful guide. We’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
