Best cooking class. We learned to make all local foods like the passion crue, bread wrapped in banana leaves, coconut chips, and grilled tuna with local sauces. Was fun and best meal since we arrived. Worth every penny.

Audrey and Stevenson have their class down to perfection! From understanding the ingredients, the history of the island, the cultural significance, what’s native, seasonal, and imported, this educational and experiential class will remain a highlight of our trip. It was so hands on and helpfully explained. What a beautiful opportunity to engage with Polynesian food and wonderful people.
Great as a couple, this experience was also good for families or solo travelers. The hosts were so inclusive. They explained everything thoughtfully and in English AND French. I would HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone who is interested in the culture, food, or people of Polynesia.

Booked this hands on activity for my wife and I on our honeymoon. She loves to cook and I love to eat so it worked out. Nonetheless, we had an amazing experience with Audrey, Stevenson, and their helper Mauri, heck even the chef behind the glass we only got to watch prep food for activities. We had the opportunity to learn about the Tahitian culture, history, agriculture, influences and more. Prepping and cooking our food was so fun; tasting it was better! Everyone we interacted with was so kind and our host/guides were amazing and funny. Eat a light breakfast and enjoy your hard labor! Don’t forget to try their coffee, it was incredible!

One of the highlights of our trip! Such a well thought out and well organized experience, not to mention with delicious food! We were so grateful to learn more about the Polynesian culture through traditional foods - from how the fruits & veggies are grown, to different cooking methods and how they’re served.

Truly an exemplary experience. Audrey and Stevenson were amazing teachers - of Polynesian cooking, culture, history. The food we learned to make was literally the best food we had in French Polynesia. But on top of a lesson on making delicious local foods with many ingredients from their property, we learned a lot about Polynesian history, and culture. The location is wonderful. It is truly a highly recommended, "must do" activity while visiting Moorea.

Truly a wonderful experience not just learning local dishes but also meeting Stevenson and Audrey! They were so personable and down to earth. We loved hearing and learning about the Polynesian culture through their eyes. We made a delicious meal that locals would eat normally. Even had leftovers to take home. Highly recommend this experience!

This was such an immersive experience. Learned culture & cuisine in a gorgeous setting. Stevenson and Audrey were welcoming and engaging. The food was fantastic! This was an exceptional way to kick off our week in Moorea. I highly recommend to all who travel to Moorea!

Stevenson and his staff were excellent! My 92 year old father and I had the best experience. We learned so much about French Polynesian food and culture. We would highly recommend making this part of your trip to Moorea. Make sure to pre-book!

I booked this class as a surprise birthday gift for my wife and I'm glad I did! We both loved learning from Stevenson and Audrey about Polynesian food and culture, and the food was amazing! It helps that they were able to make accommodations for my wife who is vegetarian. We were glad to learn that there is a lot more to Polynesian food than poisson cru (although we did make some and it was delicious). If you love food and value learning about the culture and traditions of the places you visit and not just enjoying the beautiful beaches, this is the perfect activity for you!

We absolutely loved our cooking class with Audrey and Stevenson! We enjoyed learning about Polynesian history, agriculture, and culture, in addition to how to prepare a lovely Polynesian meal. The facility was clean and organized. The food was delicious and probably the best meal we had during our vacation in Moorea. After the class, we received a copy of recipes which we could try to make back home. What we enjoyed most was getting to know Audrey and Stevenson, their passions, and the beautiful work they are doing for the community. The love, dedication, and care they have for their work is truly inspiring. Although we did a lot of hiking and snorkeling during our trip, this cooking experience stands out as our favorite activity by far.

We loved every moment of this Moorean encounter and it was a highlight of our week. The setting was outstanding.... in the middle of pineapple fields, amongst the highest jagged peaks of Moorea and surrounded by Stevenson's tropical gardens. Audrey and Stevenson are personable, knowledgeable, and truly enjoy what they do. They loved sharing about Moorean culture and their own backgrounds. It was very hands on and interactive. After preparing everything during the first few hours, we all sat down together to savor it. Audrey and Stevenson enjoyed the outstanding meal as much as we did. We enjoyed lively conversation and lingered with them. We also departed with enough leftover food to enjoy it again for our evening meal. This was an epic culinary experience.

Stevenson and Audrey were both wonderful! This class was definitely a highlight of our trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in both Tahitian culture and food. the facility was clean and well maintained. We used all fresh and local ingredients, most of which were from the farm. We learned how to carve tuna for Poisson Cru, we made fresh coconut bread inside a leaf, BBQ tuna with two different homemade glazed sauces, roasted breadfruit, some sort of pumpkin tapioca type dessert wrapped in a banana leaf. There were so many neat skills we learned and it is truly incredible to see how Tahitian people have used everything at their disposal to cook their delicious food.
The hosts were so welcoming and friendly to us, we really enjoyed getting to know them and sharing our meal!

My daughter and I really enjoyed learning about Polynesian food and cooking from Steven and Audrey. The food was delicious and it was a lot of fun getting to make it and learn about the history of food on Polynesia. We are looking forward to trying to recreate the recipes at home.

Excellent! No better way to learn about a culture than through food. We prepared such an amazing variety of delicious foods using many ingredients off their land. It was a lot of fun, educational and the best meal we had in our trip. I cannot recommend this experience enough!

Wow! What a great experience. We really enjoyed learning about Tahitian culture and foods. It was fun to then sit down to the meal with Audrey and Stephenson and their son. We found it to be very informative and just enjoyed our time. I strongly recommend doing this. Especially if you like to learn about other cultures.
