CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS : Please be sure that your last tender is at least at 7:00pm. If you are on a cruise ship in Opunohu Bay (Papetoai dock), we will pick you up by boat directly from the dock, just a few meters away from your tender pier. If you are on a cruise ship in Cook's Bay (Paopao dock), we will pick you up by car in front of the tourism office, just a few meters away from your tender pier (with additional transfer fees) You cannot book this tour if you are arriving in Moorea by ferry for the day, as there won't be any available ferries back to Tahiti after the tour.

Absolute great time! We loved our private cruise on the beautiful Taboo catamaran - we learned a ton about Moorea, enjoyed a few yummy mai tai’s, and relaxed as Moorea showed off with its beauty. Would absolutely recommend spending the evening with Captain Leo and his beautiful boat!

Great Sunset experience

Taboo is an adorable small catamaran. Leo was a great Captain, timed the sail perfectly to watch the sunset and a wealth of knowledge about the island. Bonus, we really sailed part of the time, it’s so quiet and beautiful when the engine is off! There were 6 of us, and plenty of room (could have had at least another 2 people) wear your bathing suit and bring a towel in case you want to take a dip in the bay.

This was a highlight of our vacation. Conditions were spectacular with low wind and some clouds. Everyone on board had a fantastic experience (2 friends, adult child, my spouse and me. The meeting point is a little tricky but if you read the instructions and have some faith the captain, Leo, will be there to meet you as the catamaran returns from an afternoon snorkeling adventure. Leo was a kind, informative and competent captain.

Wow. I can’t say enough about the private sunset cruise and our captain, Leo. He was energetic, fun and taught us so much about Moorea and its history. We really enjoyed the sunset cruise and would recommend it to all. Not to mention Leo is a quasi-photographer with some of the shots he got of us. 10 out of 10.

My wife and I did the private sunset cruise on our honeymoon trip to Moorea. We had a fantastic time. The boat was beautiful, the sunset was absolutely gorgeous, and the flowers, snacks, and drinks provided were the perfect touch (we loved the pineapple champagne). We also really enjoyed learning more about the area! Overall, a really wonderful time. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Awful conditions to sail this night and they still took us out. Not having a sunset is one thing, but it was windy, cold and rained and left us sitting in the zipped up cabin for over half the ride. I was in a sundress and luckily had a sweatsuit in my bag from earlier that day which I had to change into. I felt like it was more Gilligans island than a sunset cruise. The weather was so bad that night, we even lost power at our hotel and apparently some of the hotel staff lost it at their homes too. We discussed our disappointment with Im guessing the owner and he said he would credit us $100. So, basically, I paid $500 to sit in a zipped up plastic cabin and be cold looking at blurry views of cloudy mountains through the plastic. You think they’d practice better business etiquette and not take people out on such HORRIBLE days. I feel like we should be compensated for at least half price of the trip because there were no views between the clouds, wind and rain. I understand they can’t control the weather but when it’s a sunset cruise and COLD AND rainy AND windy AND cloudy, they should have done the right thing and said you know, it’s miserable out. We’re not gonna go. They just wanted their money. Do yourself a favor and cancel your reservation if the weather looks bad bc they won’t bc they don’t care and just want your money. Only reason I gave them a two star review and not a one is bc the captain was a cool guy. I’ll be posting a full YouTube and Facebook review on my channels when we arrive home since I can’t post videos and photos here. Do not recommend.

Hi Jennifer, Reading your comment we definitely should have cancel your booking. Having unhappy passengers exaggerating is the last thing we need. How come you never asked for a refund when we talked and accept the discount we offered you? How come you came back the next day for an other tour and said you enjoyed it if you are now trying to make us look like an horrible company? We took the time talk with you and your husband after your tours to hear you and to make sure everything was ok for you. We are doing our best to make sure our passengers are having a good experience 100% of the time, it is working great 99.9% percent of the time. We will keep on putting a big amount of energy for it no matter what and even more to get if possible the last 00.1% of people satisfied.

We had the absolute best time! The weather was a little tough (very windy) however we had a great time and were still able to sail beyond the reef. We enjoyed the sunset with mai tai cocktails. They were extremely easy to communicate with regarding our booking. I highly recommend this excursion.

This was absolutely the highlight of my honeymoon with my husband! The captain of the boat was so friendly, accommodating, and loved sharing information about the island with us. This is the review for the private sunset tour. Great tour! Leo and Liza were friendly and tentative. The focus of the tour is of course the sunset but Leo also sailed the boat around so you can see many other things before the sunset. You can choose the same but larger group tour but if you want to have special, memorial time with some privacy and VIP services then this private tour is worth your money. Perfect for honeymoon, anniversary or just special time with your loved one.

wonderful sunset tour with Léo and his catamaran, he also told us lots of interesting things about Moorea. Thanks to the good wind we were able to set sail and sail from Cooks Bay towards the sunset. It was a very nice experience
