We did the 3-hour lagoon snorkelling tour and it was a fabulous excursion from start to finish. Wilfred, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, great fun, and made sure we were all well looked after throughout. It was a small group tour, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. We saw stingrays, turtles, and an amazing variety of fish—but Wilfred really made the trip extra special. Would definitely do it again!

Michael was great and had a lot of island and dolphin knowledge. Very entertaining even if we didn’t see any dolphins.
However, we felt to many people were allowed on this small boat.
We had 22 people and it was shoulder to shoulder with people having to sit on the front bench as well as the small bench at the captain’s station/column. I would not go on this tour again unless it was maximum 16, maybe 18 people at the most.

What a blast! Some of the best snorkeling and sightseeing activities in Moorea. Our tour guide, Nilato, shared the history of the island, and we saw spinner dolphins, sea turtles, snorkeled with reef sharks, and even got to pet stingrays. Nilato also provided towels, swim goggles, and drinks at the end of the trip.

We were visiting Moorea with cruise ship and our pickup was just at the tender boats' pier, super easy.
We took the 1 PM tour and visited two snorkeling sport, first to meet the stingrays and sharks, and second to visit the corals and abundant fish.
The tour was super-relaxed and the guide/captain Nolte was cool and funny.
We got a drink and a snack of local pineapple and coco.
We were delivered to the tender pier with no delay. I would recommend the tour to everybody.

We were coming off a cruise by tender and did not know not given priority for private tours as cruise tour trips went first. We missed the first tender and arrived 10 mins late on the jetty. Our your guide did not wait for us .Luckily we recognised the tour operator still in the bay and asked the tender captain to go and ask if they could pick us up . Mana did do that and we went on the tour which was good but failed to get the snacks only a drink . We were the only ones on the half day tour so we got dropped at a beach and taxi took us back to the port . My partner not me got a text explaining we were late and no refund which we saw when we got home to Australia but our phone was on aeroplane mode. Mostly French speaking on our tour . Saw rays and sharks and coral gardens

Actually, for the tour runs smoothly, it's important to respect the pick-up time you're given, otherwise the whole tour is delayed, to the detriment of other passengers who arrive on time. Moreover, you need to be reachable, or at least contact us to let us know you'll be late. We weren't able to reach you that day, as your phone was in airplane mode. Your captain waited at least 10 minutes for you that day. Two other guests were also on board the same cruise ship as you that day, and they were on time for the pick-up.

Wilfred was so funny and also so knowledgable about the area. We saw so many sting rays and sharks and then lots of colourful fish at the next snorkelling stop. We were treated to fresh pineapple and coconut which was delicious. The boat was very comfortable and clean. It was a fantastic experience!

We enjoyed this and would recommend it. The stop with the stingrays and sharks and the narratives were great. The second stop for snorkeling was a little merky but may have just been that day. Guide was very good.

Willfred was an amazing tour guide!! So friendly and knowledgeable. Was such a fun tour! We wish we did the 6 hour one! Sharks and rays were so cool! And the coral garden was nice too :) even saw some dolphins and turtles! definitely would recommend these guys for the atmosphere!

This is a wonderful snorkel tour! We were picked up at the ferry right on time and began the tour promptly. While boating to the first snorkel spot we were given a nice overview of the history of the two bays, but not so much that we didn’t have enough water time. The first snorkel spot is the requisite sandbar with sharks and stingrays. There is also a good deal of coral and fish in the area, and we had plenty of time to snorkel around. This is a fairly early tour so we beat the crowds on the bigger boats. Yay!! Our guide Captain then took us to the coral gardens area which we were very excited for! When we arrived, we felt the current was too strong for our group and we were provided with the option to go to a different spot (the channel by Coco beach) and it was perfect!! Calm and so many corals and fish to see plus stingrays. It was wonderful! We had fruit drinks and fresh fruit during that stop, and again plenty of time to snorkel. Everything and everyone connected with Miti tours was excellent from email communication to driver and Captain. Highly recommend!!

The guide was pretty awesome. He gave the history of the island and sang songs. He made my husband a hat. The stingrays were my favorite part. Such beautiful colors of the water. The coral garden was fantastic also.

Mana was a fun and enthusiastic guide, captain, and snorkel lure! Almost wished we'd done the 6 hour option, but the 3 hour is enough for a quick trip on its own. We got to play with rays, sharks, and pretty fish! Saw dolphins, a turtle surfacing, and pristine blue waters. Beautiful angles of the island and some things to learn along the way. I cannot say enough good things about this experience! Our guide, Wilfred, was wonderful! He was full of knowledge, had such a wonderful sense of hospitality and humor, and made sure everyone had a great time! My daughter (6) was very nervous to swim with the sharks and rays. He took extra time to reassure her and answer her questions. She was so happy at the end of the tour! We had an amazing time. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Most people did the 6hr tour with lunch but we have members who are vegan and piccata and decided this would be better for our family. The 3hrs was perfect for us. Love the snorkeling. We did on our first day and loved the intro to Moorea.

We started with some music on the boat as we waited for others to join, the transfers from other hotels were a little late but hey, were on island time. We stopped to see a turtle named Eric and got a bit of information about some of the stunning views and bays as we motored to our destination. The area is not far from Coco Beach. We dropped off one of the guides with lunch supplies to set up at the island while we went to the spot to see the sharks and rays. The water was waist deep and crystal clear, we saw lots of fish, black top reef sharks just cruises by not phased by us at all, and the rays were like puppy dogs, wanting some food and a pat. It was quite a surreal experience, I just kept say WOW , it was amazing. Next we went to the coral garden which was really pretty, lots of little colourful fish to see.
We chose the half day tour as we are doing a similar tour in Bora Bora so following the coral garden we were dropped off to a beach and a taxi took us back to our hotel.
It was a very enjoyable morning and I would recommend it to anyone just to see the sharks and rays.

Das Boot für den Schnorchelausflug kam mit 45 Minuten Verspätung zum vereinbarten Treffpunkt. Bei der gebuchten Ausflugsdauer von drei Stunden hätten wir den letzten Tender zu unserem Schiff nicht mehr bekommen. Es wurde uns zwar gesagt, daß wir pünktlich zurückgebracht würden (dabei waren an Bord des Bootes andere Gäste aus Hotels, die mit Sicherheit verständlicherweise wenig Verständnis für einen vorzeitigen Abbruch der Tour gehabt hätten), aber wir hatten kein Vertrauen mehr.

However, we're not sure we've understood it correctly... We'd just like to remind you that cruise ship customers benefit from specific pick-up times that take into account both the disembarkation/embarkation times of the cruise ship and the fact that the tenders dock is on the way to, and not upstream from, the excursion starting point. That afternoon, the "3-hour excursion" started at 1 p.m. from the Maharepa pier as planed, and you were picked up then in Opunohu Bay. It's important not to confuse the excursion departure time with the pick-up time at the tenders dock. Likewise, as there are several passengers on board, each must be dropped off at his or her hotel on the way back, while ensuring that passengers who need to catch a shuttle/tender arrive on time. Therefore, we always do our best to adapt our excursions and timetables as far as possible if the accommodation conditions of all passengers on board so require.
