The whole tour was...

The whole tour was disorganized and chaotic. We got to the cave for breakfast and our guide, Omar, was no where to be found for 15 minutes. We also paid $70 more per person to have breakfast included on the tour, but it was only $20 to buy breakfast at the door. Once we got to Teotihuacan, our driver said he was in a hurry and had to leave in one hour. My husband and I overheard him talking about how he had another job at 3 he had to rush to. He then abandoned us at Teotihuacan, leaving us with no way home. Alexis, the tour guide at Teotihuacan, was fantastic and the only saving grace of the whole trip. Between being left at Teotihuacan and paying $50 extra for breakfast, we were really disappointed in this experience. If you’re going to go, make sure you buy the package without breakfast and save yourself the money.

A very fun day out. Highly recommend going during the week (traffic at weekends is terrible). We had a great driver, and an awesome tour guide (Alan) who was nice, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in Teotihuacán.

We had a nice day with Eduardo. He was very accommodating and polite. Plenty of information to share without being overwhelming. At the pyramids we had a second guide Ivan and he was also very informational. There’s a stop at the end of the pyramids to shop in a store. The prices are a bit high and they charge 5% extra for using a credit card, so bring cash/pesos if you want to buy souvenirs. It’s definitely worth noting that these are private tours done in small cars. Not the most comfortable compact sedans but overall a good way to see these sites with a local experienced guide.
