Beautiful Day in Lujan de Cujo

My wife and I had a great time with Sebastian as a guide exploring Bodegas in Lujan de Cujo! We travel the world for wine and enjoyed our time trying sparkling wines at Chandon, local Malbec and Cabernet Franc from Budequer (Lujan de Cujo, Valle de Uco, y Maipu), and paired with a Michelin star luncheon at Lagarde.

The wine flows!

The wine flows on this tour...and flows, and flows. Each winery presents at least four wines to sample and they are not stingy about the amounts of each serving. The explanations and tours are fascinating. The scenery is spectacular with the cordellera looming over the valley.

Our wine tour with Patricia was wonderful! We spent the morning at Chandon and enjoyed an amazing meal at the Susan Balboa winery. It was the perfect way to spend a day in Mendoza. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Three winery tours of excellent quality.

The whole day was a wonderful experience. Patricia our guide was very organised, she contacted me through WhatsApp the day before and set out the timetable. At no time did we feel rushed at any of the 3 locations that we visited. Patricia is a careful driver and full of local knowledge and shared a lot of this with us. We went to a family run restaurant in Mendoza that Patricia recommended to us and it was excellent. On our vineyard tour we visited Chandon, Huarpe Riglos Family Vineyard and then Susana Balbo Wines where we enjoyed a fabulous 3 course lunch with wine pairings. This tour is one of the more expensive tours but the quality of each winery was excellent and I believe that you get what you pay for.
