Long tour (12 hours) but well worth it! Stunning views of the Andes with several great scenic stops. Better trip than the Andes tour from Santiago- Chilean side. Great tour guide and excellent driver navigating the winding dirt road up to the Christ the Redeemer Statute.

Amazing views of the Andes Mountains.
The tour guide, Aida, was excellent at describing the surroundings and injecting stories and history along the way. Ariel, the driver, navigated the exciting roads with ease and we made great time.

Overall:
This scenery on this experience was good however the journey was padded with unnecessary stops in an effort to force you to spend.
Pick Up:
They were 40 min late but they communicated. It happens. The bus was a compact 12-15 seater- so be prepared to be close to your Neighbour. Out bus was packed to capacity.
Bus Ride:
The bus ride was bumpy- but the company is unable to do anything about the roads so don’t hold it against them. However, this is where I call foul. The tour guide Facunda was dishonest. For the entire journey he spoke Spanish- we thought we booked the wrong tour. The entire 2 back rows didn’t speak Spanish. After, we all confirmed we booked an English tour we approached him just to clarify.
When we approached him at our stopped and said he didn’t want to speak English because he didn’t want to disturb us; and said we didn’t look attentive. I was sooo taken aback in disbelief - Like WHAT?? Then he went further to be blatantly dishonest and said we were sleeping- now that just triggered us. We just got on the bus- we are all looking out the window- all the English speakers at the back not following; and we made no issue- and just patiently waited. Why not just be honest to say you forgot 🤷🏽♀️ and thanks for the reminder- we would have just brushed it off. Instead he kept pushing and insisting we were ALL asleep (all 6 English speakers at the back). That soured the trip entirely.
1st Stop:
They stopped to take pictures- this was a quick 10 min stopped.
2nd stop
Breakfast stop- EXTREMELY overpriced. Tip go the smaller cafe next door : quiet and super affordable.
3rd stop:
We stopped at another impromptu stop to look up towards a hill. Most of us stayed in the bus.
4th stop:
The Andes (orangish colour hills) in the picture. This was the ONLY required stop: the views were amazing. We were also able to buy souvenirs- also very expensive; but we were happy to support the locals.
All the other stops were unnecessary- and just served as means to facilitate buying something from Vendkrs.
5th stop:
We drove to the top of a hill- and they referred it to the middle point between Chile and Argentina- with two flag poles to signify the stop. However, ofc- they ushered us to buy souvenirs. When I saw the tour guide head around the counter to collect cash and assist sales - I already knew what time it was 🤣
6th stop:
You guessed right - more buying. It was a restaurant -for $25-27USD. That was surprisingly when I heard the other passengers complaining —and also saying it was not as tasty. I thought they must have misunderstood the price or exchange rate. We didn’t have any food there so it’s wouldn’t be fair to comment on it; as we didn’t eat any. Also, understandably, unless you are purchasing, you are unable to dine or sit inside but you can sit on the bus.
7th stop;
Bathroom and cafe stop to buy items - we didn’t get off the bus.
Ultimately the trip was a solid 4/10- extremely underwhelming. The 4th stop was the only necessary stop. If they restructured the trip to stop for breakfast then go to that 4th stop- it would be great. Also, 4th stop had freshly made local food. But overall, it seemed geared towards local purchases and it was a LONG ride. However, the view for stop 4 was amazing.
Cons:
(1) tour guide - spoke Spanish and then tried to lie on us (unnecessarily)
(2) way to long- padded with unnecessary stops
(3) extremely pricey food stops
(4) Underwhelming for the cost
Pro;
(1) the views of the Andes was amazing
Tip:
(1) Take your own food. Eat breakfast at home if you can.
(2) Take a sweater
(3) ENSURE you book an English guide or one that won’t gaslight you into thinking him not speaking English is your fault. So you are comfy to ask questions and communicate.
(4) Pack your own lunch like a sandwich- and even take your own drinks if you wish. We paid $4usd for a soda 🥲
(5) Make friends with your seat mate- it makes the journey easier. Our seat mates were supper friendly - and we all tried in our own way to manage on own when we had no English narrative.
To Faccunda credit, after we spoke to him, he tried after to speak English but said his English was bad so that’s why he wasn’t too keen on leading in English. We would have preferred that excuse than lying on the group.
Quite frankly- we didn’t mind- we were able to follow.
Tip to organizers:
1. Don’t assume everyone speaks Spanish- this trip- most persons spoke English. Be inclusive and accommodating to everyone.
The bus driver seemed annoyed when others wanted to get back on the bus earlier during a stop. I said to my seat mate- perhaps he was told to only allow us back us closing to departure. Personally we didn’t have that issue - but it was mentioned by them

Very well organized, breaks long how needed, friendy atmosphere, fortunately perfect weather. Without long distances by foot but including all what can be seen in the time frame of one day. My evaluation is 100% positive.

Our guide was just so enthusiastic. She answered every question, she took a personal approach with each and every one of us. We encountered some issues with an accident on the roadway and an avalanche as well! They handled everything so well and we’re just so informative. It was a long day about 12 hours, but they made the time pass so well. So grateful for this experience.

Toller Tag mit vielen Highlights. Absolut zu empfehlen. Our guide Ornella was very friendly and gave us a lot of information.
Justin_G, Feb 2026
you will see so much in one day it's almost overwhelming! the stops along the way are incredibly stunning. without this tour I likely wouldn't have seen any of it, and it's not too be missed! Our guide, Ornella was on top of every detail and narrated the entire trip in Spanish and English equally; sharing facts, history, and legends as we drove through the Andes. I would recommend bringing your own meal, as the buffet lunch that was offered was a bit pricey for what was available, and a bit underwhelming as a result. Get ready for a bumpy ride, especially if your group gets to go all the way up to Cristo Redentor de los Andes ‐ it is the O.G. way to get to Chile and it is an unpaved, switchback, gravel road.

Be prepared of mountain vistas like you have never seen before. Especially wonderful were the Puente de Inca & the Christ of the Andes.

Well worth the coach trip for the magnificent views of the Andes.
Excellent driver and informative guide to highlight the many attractions and historical points of interest.

A long day but scenery was amazing. We were fortunate to have good weather and went up the mountain to the statue.
James_M, Dec 2025
The ascent to the top of the snow-capped mountain was adventurous and the view was exhilarating. Guide Celina offered educational commentary along our journey. We highly recommend this experience. Bring a warm jacket; it's cold and windy at the top!
Amanda_L, Dec 2025
Great way to see the Andes, it must be amazing in the winter. Romina was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. It’s a long day but enough comfort breaks to stretch your legs etc. Only option for lunch was a set meal for 22000 pesos.
Michel_c, Sep 2025
It was great. Fantastically managed by driver Lucas and guide Ivan. Super interesting. I totally recommend it for everyone willing to know Aconcagua sorroundings.
Monika_S, Sep 2025
Really enjoyed this tour! The places we visited were even more impressive than expected. The guide was really knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful 👌

I’d recommend taking a look at the Andes but not with this tour company. The tour guide showed up sick with an awful cough. We did not need her coughing all over us in our small bus. Her voice was gone and we could barely hear her. We learned nothing, no info about the area, the flora, fauna, nothing. We were basically told where we were going next and how long we’d be there. I will say that the communication prior to pickup was very good and concise.
Judith_L, Jul 2025
The bus and driver were fine but we are very upset that our “guide” was so sick and they didn’t get someone else. For all of us to be in such a confined space with her coughing etc., was not pleasant. We could not understand anything she said as she was so hoarse, her explanations in English were so much shorter than in Spanish and we learned absolutely nothing from her. Our friends did some googling for the areas we went to so we at least had a little bit of knowledge. We were happy with the correspondence we got from the company the night before and the morning of the tour, the bus was roomy and clean but not knowing where we were, any history or back stories made the 12 hour day very long and kind of boring. When we wrote to the company, we received a bs excuse so that’s why I went from two stars to one star.
Rebekah_V, Jul 2025
Super cool day! My guide did a great job of trying to include me as the only English speaker. Saw beautiful things I could not have done on my own
Karen_T, Jul 2025
The route (in winter) was an out and back to las cuevas at the Chilean border. You can rent snow equipment for sledding and light trekking at the Uspallata stop and return it on the way back. 2 options (that we know of) for lunch- a sandwich (tostado) or a buffet lunch at the resto.
The views of the Andes are spectacular. You shouldn’t leave Argentina without seeing the amazing geological phenomena here. Our guide Hugo and driver Esteban were friendly, professional and extremely well- versed with the route. It’s a lot of time in the van, but also lots of time for moving around outside during stops.

Breathtaking views, amazing experience, excellent guide and driver. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Mendoza!
Candy_G, Apr 2025
The scenery was spectacular, which is why I give this tour 2 stars instead on 1. We were lucky to have a warm, sunny day. All our pictures came out great.
Our tour operator was not as good. I asked repeatedly for confirmation of a pick up time. They finally responded late the night before, after I was already asleep. They were generally uncommunicative about everything.
They crammed 24 people into 24 narrow seats, which made this 12 hour journey on rugged roads very uncomfortable. The host gave us a bilingual experience, but the sound system on the bus was so bad we caught little of it.
We are glad we did this trip into the mountains, but I would find another carrier were we to do it again.
Josh_M, Apr 2025
Tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and offered a surreal experience ! This was an amazing experience that I’d recommend to anybody. I’d consider a sin against God to come to Mendoza and not see the Andes mountains.
Melissa_B, Apr 2025
We enjoyed the changing views of the Andes and made some stops on the way up. Our guide Romi did a nice job explaining everything on the way. We also tried an authentic Argentinian lunch before heading back to Mendoza
Russell_F, Apr 2025
We all agreed this is an excellent tour. The trip through the valleys and up the mountains were very scenic. Pack a lunch if you can
phong_q, Mar 2025
Federico and Brian were very well planned.
We were not rushed.
A lot of information provided and questions answered.
Took care of a van with both Spanish and English speaking.
Aumarve, Mar 2025
We had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Rocio, went above and beyond to provide as much information as possible, and she was fun too. Alejandro, our driver, was excellent too. We visited several astonishing places! I highly recommend this tour
FuHua_Y, Mar 2025
This was a great day well spent exploring the Andes mountain and its history in a very relaxed setting!
Our tour guide Frederico is extremely knowledgeable and super passionate about this, which adds to the quality of the tour. Keep it up Frederico!
The only feedback is that our lunch option wasn’t great but it is part of the tour and experience.
Gary_B, Feb 2025
Our guide Esteban and driver Jonathan were both excellent. We were picked up outside our accommodation, which was great considering the early start. The day was awesome - at our age we don’t use that word lightly! Beautiful area. We did both get a bit light headed at the highest altitude visiting the Christ the Redeemer statue and the Chilean Argentinian border. Take it slowly and keep drinking water! We’re English speakers and Esteban’s English was very good.
indhara_c, Feb 2025
Ugo our tour guide was very knowledgable. The tour was pace and organized. Beautiful scenery and lots of history.
f1macbtinternetcom, Feb 2025
I had limited time in Mendoza so wanted to make the best use of my time. This trip was a very long day but certainly well worth the time. The Andes were incredible and getting to see the Argentina border with Chile at 3854 metres up high will never be forgotten. The lunch was tasty and plentiful, not unreasonable costwise. Was told to bring cash but they accepted card. Some nice stops along the way and good time in each location. We had Esteban and Brian as our guide and driver. Brian deserved a medal for driving all the way up the winding track to reach the summit and Esteban was so full of energy he made the day with a great sense of humour. Would certainly recommend as the views are spectacular.

Great trip up the Andes. Esteban, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the history and geography. Magnificent cordillera!
