This was a day very well spent during our stay in Mendoza. Federico was an awesome guide and took such good care of our van of 15 people. It was an early start to the day, but that meant that we were able to witness a beautiful sunrise illuminate the mountains. Federico's communication via Whatsapp prior to our pickup in the morning helped us be ready to be out the door and meet the van. He gives so much information along the way, which is a long drive. But there is so much gorgeous and ever-changing scenery to see (and we come from a state of mountainous scenery). The stops along the way were perfectly paced. Our driver, Alexis, was so smooth, safe, and patient, and the van was clean and comfy. We were very fortunate with our clear, cold, and sunny weather. This is an easy outing for all ages, although children might get restless. We really enjoyed the lunch at the end before turning to go back to Mendoza. It was a great hot meal served buffet style at a rustic mountain lodge (there was an option to buy sandwiches at an adjacent cafe). Federico went the extra mile helping me to set up a wine tour with the same company, Cepas Turismo. I highly recommend them.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re very happy to know you enjoyed the experience, the landscapes, and the service throughout the day. It was a pleasure having you with us in Mendoza!

Long bus rides. Landscape around the rides is actually much more spectacular than the view of Aconcagua itself. The Inca bridge is more spectacular in person than any picture and was the highlight. Of course, I like geology…. Guide Estiban was excellent, and made sure that we, the only non-Spanish speakers, got the full story (if not all the jokes).
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad you enjoyed the landscapes and especially Puente del Inca. It’s also great to know the guide helped make the tour enjoyable and accessible throughout the day. We hope to welcome you again in Mendoza!

Views were amazing driving thru the Andes, we were lucky to get to see a condor and some guanacos too. Our guide Ro and driver Ale were very attentive and knowledgeable.
Response from Host, May 2026
So glad you enjoyed the Andes views and got to spot condors and guanacos! 😊

This was a wonderful day trip into the Andes. Our guide Federico was excellent and very knowledgeable. He provided lots of good information and answered all our questions. The trip was paced well with good amount of stops for pictures and snacks. This was a very memorable trip. Hats off to Alejandro on navigating the roads!

Loved it! Hugo was amazing and professional, and so much knowledge of the area. Long day but enjoyable 😀

We had the most incredible day with Frederico and Matias! The stops were GORGEOUS! We were a group of 6, both English and Spanish speaking with 2 young kids (7 & 5) with us. Federico was a perfect guide and diligently switched between English and Spanish. His tour was thorough and interesting without being overwhelming. Matias kept us safe on the winding mountain roads. I would recommend Cepas Turismo to my family and friends and suggest they request these 2 amazing guides! Muchismas gracias!

We had a fantastic time going up to see the mountain. The views were breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

The scenery exceeded expectations - wonderful. Be prepared for a long day, the optional lunch was disappointing - so take a packed lunch

Most amazing tour and I don’t usually do this type of travel but the van , driver and guide 5 * and the location was absolutely outstanding and just the right stops and times to enjoy without feeling rushed . Do this tour you won’t regret ! I’m still on a high !

Thank you so much for your kind words!
We love to hear that the tour surprised you and left you so excited, that you had such a great time. That's the idea: to experience the landscape and the experience to the fullest.
For us, it is very important that each tour is not just a ride, but also an opportunity to learn more about the culture and essence of Mendoza.
Thank you for choosing and recommending Cepas Turismo. We look forward to seeing you on your next adventure in Mendoza!

Excellent day!!
Our fun and Knowledgeable guide Hugo Ramiro was excellent and the driver Marcos was very very good.
The sites we visited were really nice
Take a jacket as very windy and cold up the mountain specially in Christ the redeemer stop at 4000 feet
Beautiful views

The scenery along this route is beautiful. There are many stops along the way and we never felt rushed. Our guide Hugo was professional and did his best to include everyone on the tour. The only negative is being cramped into a full van for such a long trip. This is a must do trip!
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you so much for your kind comment and for choosing us! We hope to see you again very soon!

This was a great experience. We did this tour with CEPAS tours, it is a great company, they contact you in advance to confirm your attendance and to give you recommendations for the trip. The guide messages again when they are on their way to you, their guides are very knowledgeable and fun, they keep an eye on everyone, making sure everyone is ok and with the group, specially when you get off the bus where there are other groups. The way the tour is organised is perfect, because you stop in most places going up, so after lunch is a straight ride back to Mendoza. With a stop to use the washroom and have some snacks. To buy souvenirs, i regret not buying my fridge magnets and stone jewelry on the stop in Uspallata going up. In alta montaña the options are more limited and a bit more expensive, on your way back you don't stop in the town but outside the town. In alta montaña you can get alfajores, hot chocolate, wine, art craft. We were lucky that the weather was on our side and we were able to pay with card or bank transfer in some places. But you must bring cash because it doesn't always work. It was a great experience, very informative, the time that we spent at each stop was enough for you to see, take pictures, use the washroom where allowed, or eat something. I highly recommend it.

This is a full day excursion to the main attractions in Mendoza, starting with the Potrerillos Lake, followed by the Inca Bridge, Aconcagua Park and a visit to Las Cuevas, the last Argentinian city before the a Chilean border. Our tour guide, Aida and our driver Esteban were great throughout the entire tour. Note that you will be in the van for at least 6-7 hours, and spend roughly 2-3 hours outside sightseeing.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you so much for your kind comment and for choosing us! We hope to see you again very soon!
henry_m, Dec 2025
it was nice to see all the places but this is about 7 hours of driving and a mini bus and 2-3 hours of actually seeing locations. This isn't to say its this particular operator was bad its just that everything is very far and i thought there would be more time outside and less time in a cramped bus. I dont think i would recommend this unless you really want to see these places they were interesting but not that interesting that i'd take a whole day from my trip
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We really appreciate your comments and understand your point of view. The distances in this region are quite long, and we know this type of excursion may not be ideal for everyone. Your input helps us set clearer expectations and continue improving. Thank you for traveling with us.

The music selection was great and really added to the atmosphere of the trip.
However, sitting in the front seat was quite uncomfortable. The guide didn’t have a microphone and had to shout so that people in the back could hear him. Spending almost 4 hours in the car with someone shouting right next to your ear was very hard to tolerate.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the atmosphere, but we apologize for the discomfort caused by the noise in the front seat. We’ve taken note of your comments to improve our equipment immediately. Thank you for making Cepas Turismo part of your trip!

Valentina was an excellent and enthusiastic guide and Esteban a good driver. Think we had 15 people on the tour most of which preferred English to Spanish. It’s a long day but you see a lot and stop for lunch and refreshments/comfort. Would highly recommend.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Hi John!
Thank you so much for your review. We’re very glad to hear you enjoyed the Route 7 tour and had a great day with Valentina and Esteban. It is a long journey, but the views and stops along the way make it special.
We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again in Mendoza!

It is a full day with quite a number of interesting stops. Our guide Aida was very knowledgeable and informative and driver managed some tricky manoeuvres. It is impossible to describe the beauty and majesty of the Andes. When looking at Cerro Acongagua, the highest mountain in America, standing 6,972 metres above sea level it makes you realise how insignificant we are. Breathtaking!! Visited some small villages along the way and stopped at El Puente del Inca (Inca Bridge), a natural rock formation with the most incredible colours. We also visited Potrerillos Reservoir and had lunch at Las Cuevas which is the last small village before crossing the border into Chile. An unforgettable day.

Pick up was on time, guide and driver were great and it was a full day that was really enjoyable. Make sure you bring pesos, water and a warm coat as it is was snowing and really windy. A big thanks to Rocio and Brian.

I did the High Mountain and Puente del Inca with Cepas Turismo booked through Viator. Could not fault them. The tour operator was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. Everything was confirmed and the itinerary exactly as advertised, so you knew what was included and what was not. I loved it. A long drive but you have a lot of stops and the scenery was spectacular. Breathtaking. The guide was really good. Romina was amazing. She looked after the group, gave us so much information and made sure we had a lovely day. She was a bilingual guide. The tour was in Spanish and English. Dress warmly as it was very cold. Make sure you have ARS cash to hand. Just be mindful of the altitudes and take it slowly initially and drink a lot of water. It really was a memorable day. The cost of the tour was definitely very reasonable. It was a long day. I was collected from my hotel around 07:30 and brought back around 19:45. I loved every minute. You won't have reception or WIFI for most of the day, but who cares? Enjoy the scenery.

Excellent trip, punctuality, knowledge, and great time management made this experience unforgettable while visiting the High Mountain route. Ale, an excellent driver, safe and highly reliable, and Aida, an absolutely professional guide. Both made our tour something unforgettable.

The walk was sensational. The Hugo Guide was very good and helpful in his explanations. He demonstrated knowledge of everything he dealt with. The only negative point was the restaurant where we stopped for lunch. The food was of poor quality. Loading food!
